  • Trying to get one board at right angles to another board? New to woodworking and DIY? Don't have the tools? Make this simple clamping jig and all your problems are solved. I used a hole saw to cut the holes. The Ryobi 18V Cordless Drill works a charm for doing this. Cut out from both sides to avoid tear out. A jigsaw to cut out the shape and the jointing jig to square things off. Really simple. You can use any wood like MDF, Pine and Plywood. If you want to be fancy then you could use a hardwood like Saligna. When cutting out the holes you can do variations with two holes for each side of the jig but be careful you don't make it to big that it does not fit in smaller gaps like the gap between shelves.
