Wow, I am 58 years old, a musician, and I am blown away with the musical intelligence of this band's members. Regrettes: You are a SMART ensemble! That will take you a long way! Awesome!
The Regrettes band is that teenage intellectual generation that keeps the New Wave music alive and they enjoy playing their own music as they wish and they do remind me of The Raveonettes. I love Francoise Hardy and have her CD albums too. Hint everybody. Vinyl has always been back and Rough Trade East in London which is the MECCA of all music from around the world and artists from every part of the globe. The closest retail outlet that is almost as great but local in my neighbourhood would be Half Price Books and Records in the Purple building in the NE corner of Denton Square in Denton, Texas.
Of course Genessa loves The Band. Because she is freaking awesome. I would sit down and watch The Last Waltz with her any time she wants. She is talented and brilliant.
Maxx is precious
I miss him
Adeline Bechtold Drew is lit tho ;)
I think we all know The Regrettes is the best new band we have seen in years. Love everyones picks. No one else sounds like CCR. The Band has my favorite Christmas song of all time. Radiohead is a good pick for a London shop. I am blown away she likes French YaYa music. I try to get others to listen to Sylvie Vartan but Hardy is awesome too. I dont know French but the music is damm good. Rock on!
many years at that...i have hope again because of them.
@@thelaughingman79 AGREE - music HAS to change better and this band is REALLY good.
She should pick Les Negresses Vertes then - Mlah album - the most talented piece of French music EVER.
@@vladimirvspiozdner2294 thanks I found one I like alot. They seem to be a tight band. ruclips.net/video/uCd0i-f2QqU/видео.html
Their taste and interest in guitar-based rock is giving me hope for the newer generations. Awesome
These guys are so precocious... here's hoping they stick together for a while, continue to develop, ultimately get to have long (Radioead-esque!) careers.
their aesthetic is great
Mars Duke E N D I T .
my dudes have great taste
I love these people because we have such similar music tastes. I love all the people they named and I wanted to cry, these are my people. I love the Regrettes.
0:25 Ah that Marina and the Diamonds record sieb
I'm sorry I'm new to the REGRETTES party ! But really glad I found you ! GOD , Record stores ...I spent every saturday afternoon in a great record store in PHILLY ! Cool to see people still do it !
I've loved all those albums for years. No wonder I think this band is awesome
Edge + a sense of humor is unbeatable. And the Regrettes are x4.
I do love them ❤
Gotta love CCR & the Band. :)
I’m so in love with this band
Good music AND good taste.

The Band and CCR.. Nice picks ladies!!

I didn't think I could like them more...
GODDAMMIT THEY WERE IN LONDON AND I DIDN'T KNOW??!?!!!!!!!
1:31 OMG ISSA LIL ROSTAM IN THE BACKGROUND 😂
The song Hardy Point would be soo good for a movie
great picks but - i'm being pedantic here - the CCR album, released in 1968, is "super 60s," not "super 70s" which is what she says.
CCR fuck yeah
W2C the dude's shirt. Where can I get it?
the drummer omg hes sooooo cuteee plus his style tho 💕
ill never be as cool as any of these people
the outfits....
lmao I called francois hardy
Try the Francoise Hardy album "Sings In English" (Only You Can Do It) is worth the price alone .
The camera moves too much for no reason
Bandcamp is a hell of a (An expensive) drug.
This chick has a mature voice for such a youngster, reminiscent of Patty Smyth.
How are these young, twenty-something people still able to say (2:00) that their "dad" had CCR playing in the house all the time? Cuz I'm 51 and MY dad (a Boomer) had it playing in the house.
You lost me at IN RAINBOWS lol
T's pleasant, one choose Françoise Hardy record... A'm French, rather same age of Françoise, but she was never myfovorite singer, l think, she was not dynamic ... And it's not that for Regrettes!!! From France.
