After making a very big mistake that l am not proud of. I took time to reflect on my life, the choices that l have been recently making, the thoughts that l have been feeding myself and realised l was bound to fall. I have been on my knees calling for God's forgiveness, it was not easy for me to forgive myself because l was like you know better- you should have avoided this. Long story short, today as l was praying for the Holy Spirit to guide me, lead me and grant me his fruits. This song came into my heard- l am from Zim and the words that were playing in my mind were "baba ndizwa lizwe lako " so l went straight to youtube looking for this song and here l find it (well l used to play it before and at that time it didn't really mean much-it was more of me enjoying the melody and harmony of the song ). But today, the moment l pressed play, the very first part of the song was directed to me, l felt the presence of God. and here it is *"God came tonight to speak a word- l heard a voice calling from the window, l was in pain, l was in sorrow, the voice called me when l was disappointed and the voice said to me my Child come back and it called me according to Jeremiah 29 vs 11 and He said l know the thoughts l have for you, the thoughts to prosper you... the Lord is here to deliver,"* I felt at ease knowing that my Heavenly Father forgives me and he calls me telling me l might have taken the wrong path but his voice keeps on calling me telling me l do have thoughts to prosper you. Yes l will always live with the consequences of my wrong choices but knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me and calls on me once again gives me the strength to say my mistakes will not define me, yes they are part of my story but those pages are now in my past and my future l place it back to God to direct me with the help of the Advocate whom l long for and call on. Amen
