Revište Castle And Dolnoždanská Skala I SK - Views Over Hron Region And A Pleasant Ridge

Revište castle is a medieval ruin above the river Hron that used to guard trade routes leading to mining towns. Close to it there is the so called Dolnoždanská skala - a rock formation with views towards the town of Žiar nad Hronom and the adjacent Štiavnické vrchy. It is situated on a beautiful ridge of a smaller mountain with plenty of nice plant species. Revište and Dolnoždanská skala were the two main attractions that brought us to visit this part of Pohronie region.
