Sheringham was different gravy. Was always 2 moves ahead of everyone. The Barmby, Anderton Sheringham trio on their day were something else. Andertons delivery was as good as Becks, when he wasn't injured obviously lol. 3 excellent players with Teddy on a different planet!
I agree Sheringham was a fantastic striker, great with his foot and head. The Sheringham, Anderton and Barmy was a great combination. Plus the partnership between Klinsmann and Sheringham was great too.
Sheringham was a goal machine man. Him and klinsmann was just a match made in heaven in the days of 2 strikers up top. My mind instantly wants to see teams play 2 strikers up too but so few teams do, even spurs now it was Kane and now Son with supporting wingers but berbatov/keane as well showed it was a potent attacking threat when you get it right
The game was supposed to be played at Marlows Alfred Davis ground but the game was switched to White Hart Lane under police guidance. Still classed as a Marlow home fixture, Marlow played in their home kit and Spurs played in their away kit
Sherringham, Mabbut and Anderton were really a cut above the rest of the team; shame we couldn't get more of a team from those three. Also, notice a lot of Martin Tyler. He always had a soft spot for Utd and Spurs. That was his favourite game through the decades; he liked those clubs a lot. What a shocking ground Chelsea was, crap team. Chelsea, City and now Newcastle have killed football.... can never treat these clubs seriously anymore.

The handshakes 😅😅
Legend😊
Excellent video loved it !
Thank you 🙏
Will always be my favourite spurs player
Well done for that. Though it did remind of some of those truly awful seasons we had. 93-94, 95-96, 96-97 97_98 😢. Tough times being a Yid.
Thank you, COYS
Sheringham wasn’t playing for spurs 97/98
He left 1997 summer for 3.5m for United to replace cantona
He returned back to spurs 2001 …
95-96 was a decent season from what I can remember. Only just missed out on Europe and beat Arsenal and Man Utd at home.
Do you have more videos of 2002-03 and 2003-04 season
Unfortunately I don’t have anymore game highlights of season 2002/03 and 2003/04
Spurs playing in their away kit at home. Can someone explain??? 1:17

I agree Sheringham, Mabbutt and Anderton were better then the rest
Proper Englishmen, handshake after goals lol.
I liked the long range ones, the ones where he's 12 yards out with just the keeper to beat lmfao
