- your slayer gets griefed, dead - you lag during slayer, dead - you get hit by jawbus, dead - you fall into ghost pit, dead - your party fails a dungeon run, dead - your party fails to do kuudra supplies in time, dropship spawns, dead - someone brings a strong mob to spawn, dead - you dont see a shadow assassin behind you in master mode, dead skyblock is way too death oriented to work in hardcore, even if you get saving graces (which dont work), it just becomes ironman but you get sent to your island when you die alot would need to be changed for it to work
Imagine you die because you warp to crimson isle spawn but someone else grappled smoldering tomb blazes to spawn and you die instantly. Seems like a good idea.
You would need to start the game with like 1000 extra HP and like 5000 extra defence to stand a chance at not being one hit by many things as you progress
Okay so might be a crazy idea, but it should be a sub-profile kinda like bingo. When you die on it all items go to the main profile which you started the sub-profile on, you might even get custom rewards which would encourage doing certain tasks on a hardcore Ironman such as beating bacte in the rift might give you a new item. However of course if you die you have to restart.
Was looking for this comment. I feel like it should be a challenge similar to Bingo, but you can do it any time you want. You have one life, and you have an infinite item transfer limit (minion abuse cant really happen in the like 4 days you survive.)
Considering how much players die to random things in skyblock, I don't know about this. Maybe a limited life system, but straight up hardcore would make for some very very tough gameplay
ive died a couple pf times to LITERALLY no reason before. like ill load my private island and ill just be dead. as in nothing touched me, it was 100% a bug that just removed my living status, as the result of some bizarre bug. making such a gamemode in a game where this can happen is silly.
Yesss, exactly! Skyblock is way to challenging, long, and often luck based to attempt with a single life. Give the player a limited amount that can be increased as they progress.
Thirtyvirus did hardcore ironman before even normal ironman was a thing. Maybe there is something to take away from that series, like allowing a certain number of dungeons deaths in a certain timeframe. But I still feel like hardcore ironman wouldn't fit skyblock without a lot of weird leniencies with the death system.
I can only see Hardcore Ironman as a standalone profile like bingo (not taking part of the 5 main profiles), and it really is only beneficial if it ends up benefiting other profiles. So a new NPC for "Hardcore Shop" could be nice, where you can spend hardcore points you earn in Hardcore Mode, to earn those points, when you make the hardcore profile, you get 1 point every skyblock Level you reach (ain't no way people will reach level 400 without dying, especially by bugs), unlike bingo which is once per month, it's always active (creating the hardcore profile too). When you die, your hardcore profile gets deleted and your get a penalty of not being able to make a new one for a whole week (to prevent people hardcore point grinding the easy levels), and Jerry allows you to transfer 10 items to other profiles just like bingo, but unlike bingo, it resets every week so you can transfer 10 items again. I don't see a good future for the game if they make hardcore profiles the kind of game mode that you want to keep forever (it's a grinding game, that requires decades of grinding, unlike normal minecraft where you can automate so much so your main focus can retain about surviving than progressing), and then dying to a bug or ping issues. For example, I have skill issues, a lot of them, and I am aware of them, like when I try to fight mage outlaw and accidentally hit him with something that continuously damage the boss for a few seconds (for example if i used voodoo doll), he changes to his damage redirect phase, boom i'm dead and couldn't had a way to prevent it.
@@parley425 in this game mode you shouldn't focus on making it a profile you want to keep, and I thought just putting on how many levels you can reach before you die could be a nice way to get those points, the other alternative is copying bingo and giving you tasks to complete.
this would just be another version of bingo. i personally don't like bingo at all and I don't think adding a hardcore shop would make it better, it would just be forced progression. but having hardcore ironman as a challenge would be fun (again, IMO)
There are WAY, WAY too many ways to get other players killed for this to be even remotely possible to do in my opinion, and don't even get me started on the horrorshow that is dungeons, and how party wipes can just happen, like if I got my hardcore profile deleted cos some twat crushed me on f7 I would get banned from the chat for what I'd say to em.
Eman/Blaze Slayer on Hardcore ironman would be so stressful and scary to progress, those contents kill player instantly for making minor mistakes, and it takes like thousands of kills to max out.
I feel like if they’re gonna make a hardcore Ironman, they need to either buff the player or nerf the mobs. For example nothing can one shot you, they just take a certain amount of your health. They could do some really unique stuff with this possible update, like hardcore resistance or something like that as a stat.
Ive greatly enjoyed the game "Realm of the Mad God" you have a relatively small storage (at least to start) and when you die your character with their levels and gear is deleted but everything in the storage remains. Something like that could be very interesting while making it more compatible with the deaths to things out of your control. Although dungeons and other aspects would still need work.
i believe if they want it to work, it would need its own seperate lobbys from normal ironmen and normal profiles, ALOT of content needs changed to remove one shots and possibly even add a special point system you get by completing certain challenges in hc ironman that can be used for something like attribute shops where u get like certain amount of wisdom or fortune but it only works on hc im to help with people who die to catch back up
I think they should give a choice between deleting the profile on death, or downgrading on death. This way players can choice how they want to play the game mode. (This would have to be publicly displayed in a players statistics though)
This gamemode can only be viable if when you die you have a lock on your profile for like 4 hours. I think the difficulty of the gamemode should be in some "achievement" that you need to do. With maybe some other special rules to nerf offline profit like minions
I want to remind you about the parkour to the vampire island in the rift, and also that a year later the bug was not fixed, due to which the T5 Riftstalker slayer can spawn blood ichor in a place inaccessible to the player, which leads to 100% death
I think there's a much easier to develop ironman gamemode: give bingo players double their earned points if they make it to the end of bingo with a zero deathcount. I've already done at least one full bingo card with zero deaths.
Instead of permadeath, a hardcore profile could just have a much higher cost for dying, like losing half the coins in your bank or losing ressources out of sacks.
i think this would result like minecraft bedrock hardcores, you have everything almost inmortal then a bug or something strange kills you and you get frustrated, sounds great but they would have to balance those scenarios, if not a lot of people with endgame profiles could get killed by jawbus kuudra or other mobs
To work properly you would need to give the player something like a life bank, where they start with, say, 3 lives before the profile is deleted. They can earn more through completing certain milestones in the game, but only a limited amount (think the 3rd life series by Grian). This way there's a bit of a buffer and room for error/bugs which would make it more appealing to the general audience.
Here’s the thing, they should just look at RuneScape for an idea on what Harcore Ironman should look like. They also have group Ironman that works just like an Ironman coop, and they have a set number of lives when you do a Hardcore group Ironman. That being said, there’s a bunch of stuff you’d need to work on in the game as a dev to make it just, any kind of worthwhile.
I've been an ironman player for several years and I wouldn't put any significant amount of time into this unless it had some sort of really cool reward for getting far in it.
I see a lot of people say about how dying in skyblock is basically certain. If it does come out it might be released in a new version and stuff like totems could be added in for hardcore. Probably a difficult craft. Then again they do already have a saving grace item which is basically already a totem.
Maybe a limited amount of lives? The icon on the player's user can change from green to yellow to red depending on how close they are to whatever the punishment is. If it is something like losing your profile, it could help with at least some unfair deaths
In theory sounds interesting In practice it is simply not possible without features like totems of undying and the kind preventing deaths out of sheer dumb luck
I feel like this is a great idea AS LONG as they give actually good buffs so it isnt as easy to die to random bs (for example, slayer instakills wont instakill you, but deal a lot of % damage) and give buffs so grinds aren't as bs (like 2x skill xp, fortune, magic find and some others) maybe even grant those players a 50% ehp buff such that they cant die in dungeons as easily (i died waaaay too much getting items such as hype or term)
i think they should add hardcore ironman but specifically only let v1dd play on it. in all seriousness I don't think hardcore is a good idea with the current state of skyblock. dying to a lag spike, or a bug such as players being able to kill other players (yes that has happened before) would defeat the point of the gamemode. I would much rather see them take a different approach to remixing normal or ironman. I love the idea of a remixed mode of the base game, but hardcore just isnt it.
i personally love the idea of a hardcore ironman and i know that it wouldnt be everyones cup of tea and that there would have to be somethings changes but i do think it would be fun
i don't really believe this would work until the admin's proposed changes to health are implemented. with current values it's way too easy to get oneshot by normal enemies early on, and even a lag spike could ruin a run which i believe would be unbelievably frustating to the players. (also dungeon deaths should not count, various hardcore gamemodes on other games allow death under similar circumstances like instanced gamemodes, so it only makes sense)
I feel like hardcode as a leadearboard style might be smaller profiles but faster kinda like bingo. Maybe hardcode can get like 5x xp boost and something like this
I think it would be a cool idea for hardcore Ironman players to just lose their whole inventory and coins on death. You would only bring what you need with you. Idk tho
Kuudra & Dungeon deaths have to be excluded. Saving Grace/Remnant of the eyes should work. I think thats the only way people would "last" long enough to play on that profile long term. The reason why I think that: (Dungeons: Speedy Fels. Laggy Servers. Leap to a teammate that is in a bad spot (e.g. during p3 when someone preentered) (Kuudra: Instakills in Infernal-p5) In general, as a Hardcore-Ironman-Teammate, noone would want to play with you because you are far less efficient (because your primary focus is to survive, so you would probably have a Phoenix Pet equipped 24/7). If we disable Saving Grace / Remnant of the eyes, people will eventually die during a slayer boss fight. This can be accompanied by Server Lag or just skill issueing at instant-deaths (Voidgloom Beacon entered the chat). Anything else would cause people to play when it first comes out, after a couple weeks everyone kinda dies and noone wants to continue on that profile (normal ironman or profile deletion), essentially killing the gamemode after a couple weeks after release. I myself would be open to play this, but only under the conditions mentioned above. I do understand if you say "Well, then its just: dont die until you get Saving graces and then its normal Ironman", and I need to say youre right. I still think it would be interesting to play, and I cant tell you why.
This mode will break your mental. Once you get far enough you go mental boom. image you hit lvl 400 with this and your account is just a fingersnap away from being deleted. You will have nightmares of you dying in that gamemode you will turn into a lunatic because you got so attached to this profile at some point
I think it would be very fun as long as phonix pet would be more common spirit mask would be not 500m and disconnecting from dungeons or kuudra doesn't count as a death
Admins dumb here is an actual good version (and btw the only version that would work) of Hardcore profile- You start with 100 lives, when you die you lose a life, no losing lives in certain areas like dungeons kuudra, You should lose lives on things that are possible to beat without dying even if they are incredibly difficult like Blaze slayer 4, add items that help with lives (not too many items) for example Life bringer potion- Dont lose lives when consumed last one hour very expensive potion, talisman that has a percent chance not to lose life when you die etc, No reviving/gaining lives. and I think the profile should be deleted not downgraded but you should get a memento from Jerry that goes to your most played profile that's not a hardcore profile
maybe include a mech like this serv on dofus when you die you gain xp multiplicator based on your previous level (maybe include other multiplicator on loot/money etc... hypixel skyblock) it can be very fun.
i think it could work for bingo or if they made death clear potions banked coins and cookie buff also now specifically because hardcore was just added to bedrock
hear me out instead of making this a new profile thing make it a bingo thing so you keep playing till death/next bingo being able to get extra points and special cosmetics for certain goals
I think instead of that they should make just a harder (noy hardcore) iman with those changes: solo only dungeons, solo kuudra, othet poeple cant hit their mythological creatures, fishing creatures etc ( basicsly u get no help at all from other players) i couldny think of more ideas but you get the point
I would only and ONLY support a hardcore ironman if the admins fixed every single potential ways that hardcore ironmans could die to glitches / griefing / by something thats not their fault AND admins had a support ticket system with a real human who could revive hardcore ironmans if they have a proper proof of them dieing in some “weird circumstances” (griefed with jawbus, lag, fps, spirit mask not working etc) - monkey party in dungeons: dead - monkey party in kuudra: dead - bloodroom in dungeons bugged so you have to leave the run because it can not be completed: dead - electricity / internet going for while fighting a mob: dead - not seeing shadow assassin: dead - mother fs griefing with kalhuiki tribe members: dead - t5 vampire slayer throws ichor into the roof: dead - ghost pit at low level: dead - server lag during blaze slayer: dead - failing stonking with no leaps: dead - stonking into the void: dead - jawbus at crimson isles spawn: dead - accidentally using fatal tempo 5 on mage outlaw: dead - mage and archer leaving m7 run, and you cant kill dragons in time: dead - failing predev or i4: dead - getting lagback into the lava on f7 without tank: dead - pressing on the wrong message when doing the mage faction’s quest “Im just here to cause trouble”: dead - jumping into matriarch accidentally when its on cooldown: dead - spirit mask becomes a ghost item due to high ping and it doesn’t actually get placed on your head: dead - magma boss’s magma cube gets too close to you: dead - someone fishes a thunder on top of your face when ur fishing and not watching out: dead - cold in mineshafts: dead - snipers: dead - not being prepared enough for fire trial: dead - tank sucks in dungeons and you get nuked: dead - failing ee / party taking too long while you do ee in m7 - falling into the void in the rift: dead - 7/7 modifier sun gecko going wrong: dead - slimes knocking you out from the colosseum while fighting bacte: dead - admins making ANY similar mistakes in the future as the m2 warrior bug used to be (62k TRUE damage instead of normal damage): dead - getting trolled by someone asking you to click Aranya without armor: dead - swarmed by arachne’s keepers early game: dead - leaping to someone who’s about to die to a boomer blood mob’s dropped tnt: dead - missclicking with relic in m7 p5 the wrong cauldron: dead - you accidentally hit someone else’s vampire slayer while doing your own and they both go into mania (your green zone is the other’s red zone so no matter what you do you take damage) - mod bugged and doesn’t show bonzo mask cooldown properly: dead - dungeon teamate griefing by going into the deathmites hole with phoenix + spirit mask and telling you to leap: dead - skill issue in trap room: dead - pearl bugs into a wall in trap room: dead - pearl gets you stucked in a wall while relic hunting in spider’s den: dead - you get ratted: dead - forgetting to swap off shorrow after an inq during diana and you get a gaia construct: dead - lagging back into the red zone in infernal kuudra last phase: dead - kalhuiki tribe members drops on top of you while mining: dead - getting kissed by a chaosmite on your 100 wave infernal run: dead I hope this is enough ways a hcore iman can die even if its not their fault…
RageTrain managed to do hardcore series but died to lag... I feel like it shouldn't delete the profile as imagine you are late game, end up over level 400, and you die to some bullshit reason, all thousands of hours is gone..
It could be like the divine tier for bingo. Other than that it is a TERRIBLE idea especially with how terrible the servers are in this game. Lag would kill like 80% of the player base within the first month, but if it was the divine bingo tier it could be changed a little and work slightly better as a once a month mode.
this is a horrible idea, which is why it would be funny. No one in their right mind would play it, and tryhard skyblock RUclipsrs get free content. I’m in
No foraging update as per the first month of 2025. So they proced to give resources to change the core gameplay for a niche mode for the memes(?) You can't fool me thinking they would not have to change a lot of stuff to make this even a fever dream. Someone in the crystal hollow is raging over another guy just bolbing his gemstone route in this very moment (if skyblock is up this is true whenever you are reading this). Ppl will hunt for bugs just to kill a hardcore profile. We got normal, ironman, stranded, and bingo. I dont even know who the targeted audience of the mode would be. I would be worried about the mental sanity of hardcore players. I'm not joking...
I love hardcore but it's not a good idea to add hardcore in Skyblock I mean mobs like jaw is one hits you or what about dungeon? Or like slayer.there are so many scenarios where you get one hited
It is an incredible idea. Even ironman players that are ultra high-levelled are becoming common. Just imagine the respect a hardcore profile commands, as the gods gaze upon mortals that surpass themselves... But a way to flex is a must, a chat badge or name badge or something
Or there is Aranya the spider at crimson that needs to kill you or the cold at mineshefts. It would be boring bc you would need to prepare for everything liek crazy Ghosts firts visit at crimson or the foking Spider miniboss that thing kills by looking at you i know you can use a cow helmet but still. Maybe if its gona wipe the profile anyways maybe just wipe your inventory but a lot of players would just quit after losing a hype or so.
it would be really cool for you to just lose your inventory instead of downgrading or deleting the profile. to make this balenced, rare drops should have a massive boost in drop rate
I think the devs of the game need to stop fucking around and just work on their game. nobody is asking for another type of profile, but everyone is asking for updates like foraging and new slayers. These devs need to get their shit together and start realizing that they need to add more content the game (new profiles dont add content, they just make people do the same shit over again).
yeah... no... waste of time. i didnt grind ironman to start ANOTHER ironman, but scuffed to lose, why cant they give us content update, its gonna be like 10th update BEFORE we got foraging, and simon gonna say he's "experienced developer" XD
I can see a world where everyone progress to end game and then one lord jawbus wipes out an entire mega hardcore Ironman coop instantly
Calamity nex raid grief incident all over again

- you lag during slayer, dead

- your party fails a dungeon run, dead
- your party fails to do kuudra supplies in time, dropship spawns, dead
- someone brings a strong mob to spawn, dead

I think it would be a cool idea for hardcore Ironman players to just lose their whole inventory and coins on death. You would only bring what you need with you. Idk tho
I have 150 ping and I can't paly dungeons I will never do this challenge
Kuudra & Dungeon deaths have to be excluded. Saving Grace/Remnant of the eyes should work. I think thats the only way people would "last" long enough to play on that profile long term.
The reason why I think that:
(Dungeons: Speedy Fels. Laggy Servers. Leap to a teammate that is in a bad spot (e.g. during p3 when someone preentered)
(Kuudra: Instakills in Infernal-p5)
In general, as a Hardcore-Ironman-Teammate, noone would want to play with you because you are far less efficient (because your primary focus is to survive, so you would probably have a Phoenix Pet equipped 24/7).
Hardocre ironman no
Hardocre bingo yes
This mode will break your mental. Once you get far enough you go mental boom. image you hit lvl 400 with this and your account is just a fingersnap away from being deleted. You will have nightmares of you dying in that gamemode you will turn into a lunatic because you got so attached to this profile at some point
please guys don’t say it gets downgraded, that’s such a dumb idea and not the hardcore vibe😭
I think it would be very fun as long as phonix pet would be more common spirit mask would be not 500m and disconnecting from dungeons or kuudra doesn't count as a death
Admins dumb here is an actual good version (and btw the only version that would work) of Hardcore profile- You start with 100 lives, when you die you lose a life, no losing lives in certain areas like dungeons kuudra, You should lose lives on things that are possible to beat without dying even if they are incredibly difficult like Blaze slayer 4, add items that help with lives (not too many items) for example Life bringer potion- Dont lose lives when consumed last one hour very expensive potion, talisman that has a percent chance not to lose life when you die etc, No reviving/gaining lives. and I think the profile should be deleted not downgraded but you should get a memento from Jerry that goes to your most played profile that's not a hardcore profile
maybe include a mech like this serv on dofus when you die you gain xp multiplicator based on your previous level (maybe include other multiplicator on loot/money etc... hypixel skyblock) it can be very fun.
i think it could work for bingo
or if they made death clear potions banked coins and cookie buff
also now specifically because hardcore was just added to bedrock
I think dying is a core part of skyblock especially ironman
Could be super fun but the gamemode needs to have failsafes with how easy it is to die in skyblock like built in mithril coat or something
Basically Any game will have random bs deaths and glitches it just comes with hardcore u can’t expect the game will never have bs and glitches ever
things like kuudra and dungeons are the biggest issues for me outright one shot kills that can just be lag=death
all this to say i like the idea of a hardcore ironman
When's your next Ironman video? I know it viewed badly but the actual content was great.
hear me out instead of making this a new profile thing make it a bingo thing so you keep playing till death/next bingo being able to get extra points and special cosmetics for certain goals
I think instead of that they should make just a harder (noy hardcore) iman with those changes: solo only dungeons, solo kuudra, othet poeple cant hit their mythological creatures, fishing creatures etc ( basicsly u get no help at all from other players) i couldny think of more ideas but you get the point
i think that when you die you should be able to transfer 5-10 items to an other profile
also whats with the stranded hate
lf glacite tunnels update
Normal mode Hardcore would be fun Ironman not so much but it would be interesting to see
Too open to buy carries and pay2win through it
I would only and ONLY support a hardcore ironman if the admins fixed every single potential ways that hardcore ironmans could die to glitches / griefing / by something thats not their fault AND admins had a support ticket system with a real human who could revive hardcore ironmans if they have a proper proof of them dieing in some “weird circumstances” (griefed with jawbus, lag, fps, spirit mask not working etc)

I hope this is enough ways a hcore iman can die even if its not their fault…
RageTrain managed to do hardcore series but died to lag... I feel like it shouldn't delete the profile as imagine you are late game, end up over level 400, and you die to some bullshit reason, all thousands of hours is gone..
Still more playable than hardcore bugrock
It could be like the divine tier for bingo. Other than that it is a TERRIBLE idea especially with how terrible the servers are in this game. Lag would kill like 80% of the player base within the first month, but if it was the divine bingo tier it could be changed a little and work slightly better as a once a month mode.
If its like a bingo profile may be will be cool
this is a horrible idea, which is why it would be funny. No one in their right mind would play it, and tryhard skyblock RUclipsrs get free content. I’m in
No foraging update as per the first month of 2025. So they proced to give resources to change the core gameplay for a niche mode for the memes(?)
You can't fool me thinking they would not have to change a lot of stuff to make this even a fever dream.
I think the real direction that Hypixel Skyblock should be heading to, is Player VS Players. Boring without competitions
I love hardcore but it's not a good idea to add hardcore in Skyblock I mean mobs like jaw is one hits you or what about dungeon? Or like slayer.there are so many scenarios where you get one hited
Thanks my best RUclipsr
When I create new second profile
Then I confused it's new a gamrmode nice
Hardcore as in dying equals deleting is a terrible idea people die all the time even sweats
fix overall server stability and it can become a real thing ngl
I think its a great idea but work arounds are needed
if theres no other mode specific mechanics it seems like a bad idea
It is an incredible idea. Even ironman players that are ultra high-levelled are becoming common. Just imagine the respect a hardcore profile commands, as the gods gaze upon mortals that surpass themselves... But a way to flex is a must, a chat badge or name badge or something
Or there is Aranya the spider at crimson that needs to kill you or the cold at mineshefts. It would be boring bc you would need to prepare for everything liek crazy Ghosts firts visit at crimson or the foking Spider miniboss that thing kills by looking at you i know you can use a cow helmet but still. Maybe if its gona wipe the profile anyways maybe just wipe your inventory but a lot of players would just quit after losing a hype or so.
you get a whole 50k coins for finishing the survey
it would be really cool for you to just lose your inventory instead of downgrading or deleting the profile. to make this balenced, rare drops should have a massive boost in drop rate
I would rather one where when you die you lose your items and all your coins or something instead.
Nah they should improve money making in ironman, the reason i quit (lvl 300 ironman 10b nw) is because making 22m an hour isnt cutting it.
It could actually be pretty crazy
Foraging when????
Saving grace?
We need a new gamemode but not this......
I’m not interested. Lag will kill 😂
I think the devs of the game need to stop fucking around and just work on their game. nobody is asking for another type of profile, but everyone is asking for updates like foraging and new slayers. These devs need to get their shit together and start realizing that they need to add more content the game (new profiles dont add content, they just make people do the same shit over again).
hypixel is just too unstable for hardcore, any dev time spent on it would be better spent on new content, or any of the content that already exists
fix stranded first hypixel and also ironman needs help
WHATTT!!
Ngl this should be a bingo buff like u still gotta fill the card but you can’t die, and in return u get a lot more bingo points
terrible idea, bingo is bad enough already
@ naw waaay more bingo points and u just do the easy shit
not even remotely worth the dev time
yeah... no... waste of time. i didnt grind ironman to start ANOTHER ironman, but scuffed to lose, why cant they give us content update, its gonna be like 10th update BEFORE we got foraging, and simon gonna say he's "experienced developer" XD
they litteraly said that no development time has been spent on this feature yet
@@open_mind8617 that the issue bozo,l YET, they should not waste time on shit mode like this
@multiekstravardistan4480 youre quite angry over nothing right now
yeaaa hno
I don’t think hardcore is fit into this game
Absolutely not. Or at least, they would have to remove all the insta-kills from the game.
