THIS is how I enjoy mass. This is the proper Lutheran service
Thanks much Everwine!
Blessings to you!
My church uses the 1941 TLH which is virtually identical. Love that service!
The Lutheran liturgies have been in my life for 82 years. God blessed my life with this treasure.
Wow! Praise God for your faith!
So many times.... When life is so . . . . I feel miserable, I find great comfort in this. Bless you.
Now this is true High Church! Love setting three!
This is the Lutheran Mass that reminds me of my childhood
As an organist, I have played Divine Service settings one and three. The accompaniment for setting three is simpler, yet still very majestic.
Since I was young people in the church we use the original Divine Setting 3 from the Red Hymnal.
Really loved it.
Soli Deo Gloria!
I love setting three, listening to it during lunch break.
It's the best!
This is the best of all ...we've used this setting my whole life and still do
Thanks Todd Berner.
God's Blessing!
How old are you lsb has only been out for less than a decade. Liturgy has changed at least 3 times in my life. TLH then LBW then LW then LSB. All different.
@@stevewallschlaeger1379 Divine Service Setting 3 is based off of the liturgy included in the common service written in 1887 and approved in 1888. All 5 settings of the Divine Service are derived from other hymnals. More information can be found on the Wikipedia page for the LSB: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutheran_Service_Book
Really loved the Divine setting 3. Blessings! ❤😊
Loved this thank you

Thank you 🙏🏽

Really appreciate it.
@@HighestPraise Thank God brother!
It’s good as this is very similar to THL. Same tunes but some of the beautiful Lutheran Chorale is still missing. I grew up with the old 41 Hymnal. And I’m still in my 50s. I want that book back and the Churches were full when I was a boy! Smash Cultural Marxism now. God save this world from Communism. CFW Walther’s book Communism Socialism and why it’s totally incompatible with Christianity! Get it.
Thanks!
All the cadence's need breath support you maintain pitch.
Flat by at least a perfect second or major third
This is the way Lutheran worship should be. The 1941 hymnal or setting 3.
Yes, yes, yes. I love setting. I grew on page 5 and 15.
