I completely agree. They took what made the original so special and they threw it away with this new version🤷🏻♀️ hopefully the next flanker will be better. Maybe some good cashmere or woods would be nice in the base🤓🤓🤓
Harsh, more masculine, actually _less_ vanilla compared to the original! I have the original and bought the body lotion to add some longevity, definitely helps! The shower gel is a pure pleasure as well. Intense is a very confusing flanker not at all what was expected!
I just want them to make the original have better projection/silage and longevity. The OG is my absolute favorite scene, but the poor staying power and weakness make it impossible to justify the steep price. I was hoping the “intense” would just be a stronger version - very disappointing that it’s not
I prefer this new Intense version of Goddess actually. I think the lavender is very realistic and smells wonderful. I never thought i liked patchuli because I hate it in Coco mademoiselle, but in Goddess intense it's very sexy and deepens the wear. I sprayed it on last night, and when I came home from work today my cat smelled like vanilla 😻, so the vanilla-notes definitely lasts.

Replace the patchuli with musk , Cashmere, amber. Let the lavander and vanilla stay.

Completely agree with everything you said. I was very disappointed, too. I adore the original Burberry Goddess. What a mess!!

I blind bought 100ml. I too am disappointed. It isn't what I was expecting. I do 'like' it but not sure if it is enough to keep it.

I prefer the original. The new intense has a minty scent in it with like banana smell.😢 I'll stick with the og.
I got a sample of Burbbery Goddess intense and i find the patchouli not so well done! Smells little to masculine for me, the OG is mutch better!😊
Lavender is not my favourite note… I think the original one is better on my skin.
We shall await another Goddess flanker and ignore this flop
