he wasn't "solo carrying" the whole match at all, but yes they would be much worse without him as itd turn the 5v8 into a 4v8.
i wanna add: look at how he did in semifinal. only top-scored one map and not by much. they'd still get pretty far without him.
aus has good gimmick sides for earlier rounds, but they would really benefit more with gimmick sides who have a higher skill ceiling. hence why 3 people aren't being used in later stages.
