Among all the wonderful performances in youtube I couldn't find anyone play the up bow stacattos in 3rd movement clean and perfect except Shlomo Mintz...it's unbelievably difficult and Shlomo did it...such an amazing violinist he is 👑
the 2nd mvt has got to be one of the most beautiful movements in all of the major repertoire! It just gets down in your soul!
Cc
Such beautiful hands! He walks all over the the fingerboard as if his hands were spiders. Truly inspiring.

Whats violin beautiful sound. excellent violinist. Bravo!
Beautiful !
elegantly played
7:47 its so beautiful
i AM glad that now he is my teacher🥸
So touching 2nd Movement!
OMG! I didn't know that Wieniawski's second violin concerto is composed by J. Brahms.
Harun Güneş 😂😂😂
Harun Güneş hahaha
it's just a mistake but you have the video to see and hear, later will fix the mistake..anyway is funny
@@harungunes3735 I don’t think there is proof of Brahms composing the second movement.
WOW. this is up there with shlomo's performance!!! he can't play a wrong note!
look at the violin hickey on his neck… he probably practiced 10 hours a day
I agree: the only difference is that Shlomo played it faster, in a more virtuoso manner. Yet Richard plays Wieniawski a lot better than present-day finalists of 16th Wieniawski Competition.
3:30 Solo entrance
他的琴好棒喔
鏗鏘有力聲聲分明!

there are always 0.5s lags for the orchestra in the last movement...
not a good pair between Richard and the orchestra. I guess that is why he was put on the fifth position
4:09 wrong note
Cat Woman By whom?
@@TheNeilsolaris just really outta tune... but not wrong note lol
he saved it tho
who cares. it was an astonishing performance.
realistically in a 25 minute long concerto, no one is going to play completely perfectly, and the pressure of this competition is immense.
This violin is one of many many examples of the fact that the superiority of "strad sound" is a myth.
What violin does he play here?
18:14
did he win anything in this competition?
Yes, he won 5th Prize.
What shoulder rest does Richard use. Does anyone know?
Maybe a KUN?
szkoda, że dęte nie grają ze smyczkami w tematach :( baardzo nierówno
Strasznie mi to przeszkadza 🙄
That orchestra sounded kinda lazy
Lol . it's not Brahms.
Никто не играет стаккато в 3 части
