I got to see him before he was really famous at the Minnesota Horse Expo. He was still young. When I saw him in his stall, he was like fire made flesh. I got to see him prior to his being all greased up for the ring. So his more natural beauty was visible. Every photo I ever saw of him all greased up, I felt, was a not living up to how much better he looked without all that grease on his face. He was electrifying and he knew it. Stunning. I probably have pictures of him somewhere that I took from that day.

Without the horse, man's history would be rewritten. There should be monuments built for the horse - a selfless, noble animal. For over five thousand years, the horse went unchallenged as the world's fastest, most reliable form of land transport prior to the automobile. (Ironically, the car's power is determined/ measured by "horsepower".)
The horse is worthy of admiration and praise but the one handler who keeps jerking on the halter with a chain chin strap is a jerk, it is cruel and painful to the horse, I flinch every time he does it.
My mothers' horse Saudi is his grandson! I'm not even joking, I swear down on my own grave and to God himself that one of my family's horses is his grandson! Don't believe me? Look at my profile pic!

Very very nice. Love this horse!
I have a beautiful Psyche grandson by the gorgeous EF Kingston.
My photo - here to the left - is of Fortune Psy - one of Padrons Psyche's progeny.
The Norths have a horse ranch a person could only dream of having.

Padron was his sire.

Michael Byatt is the handler. He's famous for two things, the extraordinary number of champions his barn has produced and his brutal methods.
