Just in case there are those who are newer to the game, or aren't aware: Two of the greatswords could've been farmed earlier in Limgrave. The Knight's Greatsword can be farmed from a Godrick Knight in a small fort heading East from the Warmaster's Shack grace towards the Saintsbridge Grace. The second is the Banished Knight's Greatsword, which can be farmed from Banished Knights wielding it in Stormveil Castle. Earliest farm would be to start at the Stormveil Cliffside site of grace and to farm the Banished Knight in the room you get the rusty key from.

Elden ring but backwards. You start at late game level and every boss makes you loose levels.
i really liked the motion values explanation because it helps me better understand what probably happened with the thorns sorcery from the dlc being so strong is that they just left the bleed build up be really high while having multiple hits so it would be like if they let twinblades have 100 motion value on their multi hit attacks
the start of this run was fun to watch seeing bushy have to explain that not every run needs to be a challenge

Edit: Good feedback! Probably do an all boss run and keep it at every enemy so we can have significant change, we could always do 2% or 5%, as long as Bayle looks like a psychotic nightmare by the end I’m satisfied

@ryanhickson63991% isn’t a big enough change for bosses though. There are only like 13 required bosses. A 1% difference per boss isn’t significant unless it’s an all bosses run.
@SouthernHavoc there's at least 17 required bosses to beat base game, not including bosses like red wolf or Margit, the run would be all rememberances of both the base game and dlc, you would be killing open world bosses for sorceries weapons incants etc
I think he beat ER with -level, wich means 1 hp 1 stam etc. so i don't think that would be a challenge
I've had the idea of doubling enemy speed(not game speed) so that the player is as slow as normal. I know it's possible to do with mods, but I'm not sure how playable or interesting it would be. Bushy would probably be fine tbh.
I don't use them much, but greatswords, specifically Lordsworn, hold close to my heart. It was what I used for my first Margit kill, in my first souls game playthrough solo.

That one chatter at 1:32:57 was right. Sacred Relic does bang in Putrescence. Dropped into that arena with no idea what was going on and a full Sacred Relic Sword build and ended up first trying the boss with 6 button presses. Only knew he was somewhat important because I already saw talk of him online at the time and was still a little surprised when the Remembrance dropped.
Given the proper talismans, Marais Executioner Sword is one of the craziest weapons in the game. I'm so happy it got a spotlight in this video as it's my favorite weapon

The only thing I dislike about it is that it’s basically an ash-of-war-stick instead of a functional weapon that also has a cool skill. It’s pretty not-great as a weapon itself
Can’t wait for the Throwing Dagger one……use the arrow’s reach talisman. It works on the Smithscript daggers focus on longevity not just damage

I have fought Beast Clergyman so many times and seen him fought by others even more. Yet this video was the first time I'd ever noticed that he puts his dagger in his mouth to do one of his moves.

i hope when bushy gets to twinblades in this series he does a charge attack build with them, way more consistent than jump attack build AND i feel like it's a good way to actually learn fights due to looking for openings to do said charge attack
twinblade powerstanced jumping attacks are way better than 2 handed charged heavies, but i wouldn't worry about him not doing a build because twinblades really only have like 3 proper builds and that's pushing it.
I love greatswords. My greatswords-only playthrough is probably my favorite so far

My favorite Greatsword build I've ever done was Blasphemous Blade and Sword of Milos dual wield, so every time I killed an enemy, I regained health AND MP. Kept the Sword of Milos in the right hand so I could buff/debuff (I don't remember which it did) at any time.

The Tumbnail greatsword combo is my first build. It required a lot of grinding but it was poth fun and powerful as heck

The armor Im pretty sure is the Black Knight set with the Death Knight helmet
with as many stance breaks as you were getting the dagger talisman would've been a nice addition to the party, especially on midra. i think the ash for ordovis's scales off weapon level rather than faith, and i'm not sure how the numbers crunch with the poise break physick tear, but it might've made more sense to use the ash simply for that purpose, and make your loadout buff crits instead. golden vow and flame grant me strength would've been nice compliments, but i know you weren't trying to melt everything lol.
and we all learned a valuable lesson today: marais executioner is still the goat, darkmoon greatsword is stlll the easiest malenia you'll have do, and death's poker melts basically everything else. like they always have lol. and omg yes, the melee move set for death's poker sucks so much. the charged r2 looks cool, and if you kind of whiff a little it can clear some distance, but the shape of the weapon makes it look like it should have a spear or halberd move set.

I love how inbetween all the insane challenges, you can clearly see Bushy enjoying a relatively long run done purely to further study a game he's already a master at. I deeply love the attitude behind it, the concept, far beyond the fact that we're just talking about videogames.

I've always loved the Claymore. It has a sweet and simple design, decent damage output, AoW changeable/can be infused, etc. It was my #1 in my first playthrough 💕

Only greatsword I used was dual Knight's Greatswords as I was cosplaying as a Redmane Soldier to beat Radhan in the dlc. It was pretty fun
Stormblade + cold Flamberge is my weapon of choice for the first playthrough of DLC. It was a blast)

Banished Knight Greatsword can be got in Limgrave/Stromveil Castle just needs a little farming and prob the best non-status Greatsword in that area with the Better R1 Combo over Claymore

For the record, Greatsword of Solitude *can* true combo out of the AoW -- but not with the follow-up. If you hit L2 at close range on an NPC, you can true combo into an R1.

the lordsword greatsword was my first weapon and ive used it for more than half of my first playthrough. i just put some bleed on it and it was great.
Bloodflame blade does stack with itself and, like all weapon buffs, it ignores motion values AND if your weapon scales with arcane then bloodflame blade ALSO will scale with arcane. Pretty crazy

Greatswords are incredible. They weigh less than Colossal Swords/Ultra-Greatswords, often have similar range and even comparable damage, and just better movesets with decently fast swings than their Colossal relatives. The only thing they undeniably are inferior in when compared to Colossals is the poise-damage, but even that is decent.

Plus it looks like Nameless King is in it. While FromSoft normally reuses assets, this one just seemed too similar. Plus, the description is that it’s a parallel world to the Land’s Between. So maybe we’re getting a world that actually has elements of all 7 SoulsBorne games. We’ve already got Sekiro’s parry system confirmed in the trailer, plus Nameless, and I’m sure you’ll find Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls in there as well. 8:57

I love greatswords. They're my favorite weapon class. Gargoyle's Blackblade wasn't great before the black flame nerf, but was still fun to use. Now after the nerf, it is a bit ass.
