WOW! Well done sir! Top notch craftsmanship and video work together to make this baby! Looking forward to seeing that stone with the rainbow in it cut!
Thank you very much. I will also test some Stones with Rainbows👍 btw I still have a huge Smoky Quartz Crystal with 2 incredible Rainbows and Rutile Needles inside. Cant wait to cut this Material, but first i need a bigger and better saw😄
Yeah indeed, i tested a lot...also different grits on the same Disc. It works but i wouldnt suggest it, because it isnt a comfortable way of polishing. It is much better, faster and easier to use one Disc with one grit size as i do it now.
I am ocd is it just overkill or make a difference that I go from 50,000 grit polish to 100,000. I personally love inclusions and go out of my way to find rough with inclusions I like and always feature them and because John at gearloose gave me a diamax lap I use a ultra fine cerium oxide or aluminum oxide after the 100k diamond grit the oxide I use is a extremely fine oxide a can't find in the retail market I get it from a chemist I know
Thanks for watching and your comment. A finer polish is often an advantage, I've seen some positive results, particularly with colored stones. I also love inclusions in gemstones and often try to highlight them or integrate them into a design. Yes, the usual oxides are not that fine-grained, so a 100k diamond polish is usually better. But if you have access to particularly fine oxides, your sequence is optimal.
@@GermanGemcutter one other request could you please do a video on diasterism I can find very very little information on the internet or my reference books usually max a paragraph and a single minute long video just showing a rose quartz sphere that displays diasterism I understand it's actually more related to chatoyance then asterism but no details on how to spot it in rough only that it needs to be rounded has smaller inclusions then normal and it only shows when backlit. I just really want to know more see more examples learn how to spot it in rough form and what types of gem material can show this phenomenon it reminds me of this type of crystal Opal I have I forget the name since I had a stroke and am still recovering but it looks just clear until backlit and then all those beautiful features of crystal Opal shows. Thank you for any information or if you can do a video on the subject I have also learned it can be referred to as biasterism. Thank you for making your videos it is greatly appreciated and are enjoyed by many.

That was some good stuff. The six way reflection was really cool looking. See you next video.
Thank you very much for watching, i will test some more Designs with cool reflections👍
Nice video!!
Nice work my friend!!
Thank you 👍
I love the inclusion hanging there and the simplicity of the cut is elegant!
Thank you very much for watching and your Feedback. I also like the Design a lot.
Well done!
Thanks my Friend😁
Did you use the same Batt Lap for the 8k & 60k diamond in 17:52 of the video?

Wonderful:)
Than you🙂
