I think a lot of them have leslies. Awesome catches, I am surprised I didn't see you that day. I work at Cicero Yard for BNSF and am always driving around LaVergne and Berwyn!

thank you! I believe they have K5LAs on the cab cars, but they have P5s on their locomotives. This entire subdivision is a quiet zone and has been for the last 20+ years so the trains only honk the horns in emergencies and when they're meeting another train. I had cab car 8589 leading my train up there (Metra 1268) and it sounded like a K5LA to me, but the engines have P5s

I notice the 2nd train had an 8400 series on the back. That's first time I've seen anything other than the 8500/8600s on a BNSF train in a long time.

4:56 I'm not the only one who shakes violently when a train suddenly blows its horn.

I've been there. At West Hinsdale at the end of August, about to film the only Metra train stopping at the station at that time, and it blew it's horn. Really made me jump

If you go there on the weekday afternoons, say around 1:30 you can catch our hottest train going from Main 3 to Main 1 at LaVergne :)
