Out of all the girls that Hmong Lao people adopt, I only like to watch Kaj Siab. She is the most discipline, caring, humble, responsible, the list could go on and on, but Lauj and Sheng are lucky to have her. I wish I have a kid like her.

Yes the neighbor was on video defending them because she says kajsiab was in school. GaoSheng should have stayed home knowing that kajsiab has been abandoned before and also she’s in school. It wasn’t that important to go with Lor into town while Lor was helping his family do passport. GaoSheng sometime lack maternal instincts and responsibilities.
I made an honest opinion. The way that she hugged her dad says it all, that she probably felt scared and abundant. If she would have ran to him smiling with an open arm, that would had been a different story and even though she had friends and neighbors to help look after her, it’s not the same as having her parents there with her. She probably felt like she was a bother to her neighbors. Yes she is 13 yrs old but to be 13 and not used to having your parents with you 24/7 especially with the history that she had could be traumatizing. I’m just happy she’s with her family now and smiling and enjoying her time with them.

To all the people who say that they don't love her, a kid knows who loves them and who doesn't. Her display of affection towards her dad should speak a thousand words. I believe that NS and KS relationship is strained, just like how a typical teenager and their birth mom's relationship get. Its not about NS not loving her but finding that median ground so that they can understand each other and the new love language they now speak.
