Another brilliant video. At the end of my school field, I have a train line. Great views of trains. However there is 2 DRS 37s that go past with a half sized shipping container but on Friday I found out that the train is transporting nuclear waste which makes sense with it having 2 train and one cargo container.
+Ant Craft Thank you mate! That's really interesting actually, must be a dangerous task though transporting nuclear waste, one screw up could be costly.
I was over at Taunton Station, on Sunday morning (16th October 2016) awaiting the 10:58am "Great Western Railway" train to Plymouth service, for Exeter.
What damage did the lighting strike do (in Australia the other day the state of South Australia had over 88 thousand lighting strikes in one day which took out the power for the whole state which covers an area of 984,377 sq km compared to the UK 243,610 sq km) Those XC drivers sure like train spotters with waves & tones nice station Taunton awesome day out Kieran
+bravohotel100 Thanks Brian. I'm not too sure how badly damaged it was but I do know that it caused so many delays. XC are brilliant with tones and yes Taunton was a great station and it was a great day out. 😃
As I'm from Taunton, I've been over to Taunton station several times to watch the trains for several hours. The 1307 service for Bristol Parkway with 150120 typically is a Taunton to Cardiff Central service, just like most local stopping services leaving Taunton at around xx07, through stations such as Bridgwater, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea and Backwell, to Bristol Temple Meads and through to Cardiff Central. Last October when you filmed there, as you mentioned, the Severn tunnel was closed so the services couldn't go to Cardiff. Why they went to Bristol Parkway instead I don't know as the Taunton to Cardiff Central services don't stop there. Anyway, that's the probable reason it had Cardiff rather than Bristol Parkway as the destination station
I have a quick question I'm traveling from Wakefield westgate to Penzance in a couple of weeks and I was wondering we have to change at Plymouth to get to Penzance so I was wondering do you have any idea what type of train it will be all I thought that it stops at hayle and it's GWR and we don't have reserved seats between Plymouth and Penzance because it would not allow me to tick the box on the journey going down but would let me tick the box for reserved seats on the way back.
+lewis canning If you're changing off in Plymouth for that then you'd either be getting a HST that comes from London Paddington or getting a Class 150/153 that will run from Plymouth or somewhere nearby.
+Thomas Norton Thanks Thomas. I think Super Voyagers are ok for what they are, yes I mean there's not many carriages but consider the length of the coaches and the amount of seating rows there are. Same goes for HST's. Anyways glad you liked the video. 😃
I have a song for the pacer. The pacers are going two by two horah horah. The pacers are going two by two horah horah the pacers are going two by two while bumping along the line and really screaming it's head off
I believe that the 166s are covering services now.
Correct

Looks like a good station. Taunton is a nice place :)
+domino566 Yeah it is a great station to film. It's a lovely town too 😃
Also, what's the minimum service frequency you want to film at a station? Like if it has a minimum of 2 trains an hour you'll film there or something
+domino566 Most I'll do is 4 trains an hour mate. Doing less than that would be very drab in my opinion unless there's passing trains.
Alright. I'm just wondering because Gowerton, Llanelli etc. have appeared on your plan that I was confused about :D
+domino566 Oh right haha. I've already checked up on those. I'm ok with filming them 😃
Great video I hope those hsts will make some time up after running extremely late due to that lightning strike at liskeard
+Daniel Martin Thanks Daniel. They did but it took almost all day.

+lewis canning No problem 😊
Great video mate :)
+Single Doo Thanks mate 😃
Yay
+Raygun 115829 Yayayayayaya 😉
YEY!
+Single Doo Haha enjoy bud 😃
I think normal HSTs need to be at least 6 coaches and Super voyagers 7 coaches, a very nice station and a like from me Kieran.
+Thomas Norton Thanks Thomas. I think Super Voyagers are ok for what they are, yes I mean there's not many carriages but consider the length of the coaches and the amount of seating rows there are. Same goes for HST's. Anyways glad you liked the video. 😃
KTV Videos sorry I meant normal voyagers, not HSTs
+Thomas Norton Oh right yes I agree there 😃
OMG! I saw 43012 and 43140 at cardiff on the same day.
+Jack Ollier Trains What are the odds! Haha
if you would be a train driver what company would you work for
I would happily work for either GWR or work for Eurostar as they have awesome high speed services.
Cool I would do GWR or VTEC
+Reece Keenan 2 good choices 😃
I was here nearly 1 year ago to get a bus to minehead
+Sammii Greening Nice. 😊
I have a song for the pacer. The pacers are going two by two horah horah. The pacers are going two by two horah horah the pacers are going two by two while bumping along the line and really screaming it's head off
+isaac the trainspotter Lmao 😂😂
bro wth? great western railway powercars but first great western carragies?
SINGLE DOO!
+Single Doo 😃😃
11:20 part you missed to say Person Street and Bedminster then Bristol Temple Meads not Nailsea and Backwell and then Temple Meads
From Taunton they don't call at Parson Street and Bedminster...
@@KTVTransportdo you have plans to visit Taunton Parson Street and Bedminster again?
56 MINS LATE!! :O
keep an eye out for 43185
+Reece Keenan Already seen it at Plymouth mate. 😊
Seen it at swindon today what do you think
+Reece Keenan Nice and yeah I think it looks great. 😃
just think 43002 and 43185 together
+Reece Keenan They were next to each other at Paddington on Tuesday 😃
because I want to be a driver or train manager for gwr
+Reece Keenan That's a good ambition to have 😃
I don't like FGW hsts 10 coached trains.
You have a echo
Indeed I do 😉
