- Tired of lengths of different extension cords strewn across a garage or working area? My studio space required a number of extension cords to power things like my lighting set-up, laptop, monitor, assorted power equipment/tools, etc. This lead to a pretty messy - and potentially hazardous - working area.
I was recently introduced to a great solution for this. In this video I do a quick walk-through of how I "cleaned up" my studio using a great extension cord reel from the Dewenwils company.

Terry Peterman, You're the best! I just had to subscribe!
Thank you so much! Made my day!
I hate to rain on your parade, but I had a cord reel burn up. It had a breaker in it, but drawing a bunch of current thru it caused it to overheat. Seems that current running thru the wire, coiled up, creates an electrical field that creates heat.
Yes, that's been known to happen. With a large current flow it could cause some heating in the coil. More risk in a much longer cord reel than this, but with low current / wattage loads like this it's not too likely. But something to keep in mind for sure. Thanks for watching!
U r a genyus, thank u
