As a person who grew up in the same situation but I was in Samu’s place and my older brother in tsumu’s place and then my little brother was just there this made me cry. This song always reminds me of my dad and dad to say but he’s still apart of our lives. Not personally mine and my older brothers but he sees my little brother four 3 1/2 days every week and we noticed him coming home with bad bruises lately. My little brother has told a little about the bruises but none of the stories seem to add up and me and my brother recognize those kinds of bruises very well. We go to court in December. We are trying to get him away from that man. Just like our mom had done for us. It’s our turn to save our brother.

Turns out the bruises were from my dad’s ex fiancé rather than my dad. My dad left her and moved out. He still has his custody but he’s under close supervision by multiple people police and family alike. So far he hasn’t done anything that could have him put away.

This hit me on a different level... I cried, not for the twins but more so for myself. I am like atsu, protected my older brother from both of my parents my whole life and now I'm old enough to leave but I don't want to because then all their focus will be on him. Writing sensitive topics like these is always tricky; I want to tell these kinds of stories but I always get scared that I might not be respectful enough toward the survivors of similar situations. It has to be handled with care and compassion and while I do my best I will never not worry about misrepresenting their experiences (obviously accounting for some liberties in terms of adapting it to the medium of storytelling.).

I think I didn't say this enough, so I'll say it once more: I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 🌺 You really have a way to write that really makes your content amazing. The way you can talk about angsty topics without getting too "heavy" with it, but still keeping it real, is amazing. I watched other videos online where there were topics like abuse or toxic relationships, but many times, it was just way too exaggerated and really unrealistic. Sometimes it was something like "Oh I get abused (and the imagination here goes wild on mixing all types of abuse you can think of without even representing them correctly), then I'm hated by the whole team for something I didn't do, then I'm abused by my team (and by the other teams as well because, why not?) as well for said thing, and then I just decide to unalive myself, but not before writing them a letter and make them regret everything they did". All that in like a 10 mins video... and I'm like "what.😀". On the other hand, you really have a talent in this. The way you portray relationships of any kind (between friends, family, lovers) is amazing. Your characters really live those relationships. When there is angst, it never crosses the line. Every time I watch one of your videos, I am sure that I won't feel bothered or uneasy, and I'm glad for that 🌺 I'm so happy every time a new video is out. It's like reading a book or listening to an audio book, and I love reading 😊 For this video in particular, I loved the way the boyfriends supported them. It was so sweet, and now I'm crying 😅 It really melted my heart. Also, I love this song, so double win ✨️ Keep going, and don't forget to take care of yourself first. i love this song but it ahead makes me cry because i personally relate to it. when i was around 2-14(now) me and my siblings all had different dads and they all happened to be abusive and i feel for the song because like i said, i relate. mr siblings and i’s dads would try and arrest my mom and we’re just physically and mentally abusive and my siblings look a lot like their dad but sometimes i get told i look like an exact replica of my dad and have the same personality so this song being about being like their dad and looking almost exactly like him and saying it’s part of the family line either way really hits close to home so personally or whats makes me cry. I also just wanted to say for anyone else with similar situations that you’re not alone just make sure to take care of yourself and just try to about whichever parent it is but not too much to the point they catch on, but just stay away from them, and once you’re ready tell it to some one you really deeply trust and know they wouldn’t tell a non trusted adult or start going telling anyone. do i just wanted to tell you all that you aren’t alone and you’ve got this!!! This song reminds me of when my father yelled and sometimes hit me, my siblings and my mother. My mom finaly got divorst with him but becuse that my order brother has depresion, I have depresion and I'm scered of people, my older sister has other problems (I'm not exacly sure what problems), my mom overthinks too much, my yunger siblings cry when someone yells at them. And my father is still an alcocholic. I hope it het better :>>
