I'm excited to try and catch my 1st crappie. I'm in the upper Midwest, so we are probably about a month behind once y'all in Texas get going. I started watching more and more of your videos and i will for sure let you know how it goes! Thanks for the tips and videos brother😊
Thanks for the instruction, will try this technique tomorrow. Glad you put safety first. Also, my sincerest apologies for Bashing Live-scope (email). I stand corrected.
Well the males go through a hormonal change and they turn darker. Black and white crappie males. Females won’t turn, and usually are full of eggs with a big belly!
They have been in the creeks for the past month. But it’s about to be fire. I have white bass videos coming. Don’t worry. Thanks for watching! God bless
Thanks for the great video Caleb! I need to invest in some waders as there are plenty of similar places here on our lake, and your tips will be put to use this season. 👍
Cool video, thanks for sharing…excellent of you being knowledgeable of these fishes habits throughout the entire season and the adaptations you make along the way…god bless!
Excellent video man. Jordan Ware here. I asked you last year about being a guest on the podcast but I ended up missing the opportunity. Would you want to join as a guest for a short episode on the ‘24 crappie spawn?
And 903, still eating, getting "fat", full of all the knowledge you're feeding us. THANKS again, haven't been able to hit the water this Winter. But I'm about to, and use all of what I've soaked in, and ate up from You💯👊🏾👊🏾💯

Great video! Which 10 foot ACC rod are you using? I’m considering buying one and can’t make up my mind on the rear seat or the mid seat rod. Which do you prefer?
Thanks for the great video. I hate to see all the negative comments. It would take a lot of folks keeping all the spawning cappie to hurt the numbers. You're doing a great job.
Yes we know the products you use to catch the crappie. Seems like the videos are about the products you use and not about the technique. Just saying. But love your vids
That’s Totally Cool 903, You wading and catching Crappie in a foot of water, I never knew Crappie got that shallow, Thanks for the Lessons, Thanks for the Video, WoW 🤩
When fishing that shallow and so close to the target area the fish can hear your voice vibration’s unfortunately you have to talk to narrate your content. Great job regardless love all your content.
Hey, The RiverBug Project, I'm here in Ohio too, and I'm not sure where you fish at. But Crappie eat all year long at Griggs Reservoir. As long as the water isn't frozen over, they're going to eat. That's what a older man told me about 23 years ago, when I just caught the fishing FEVER. And I know it's true, because I sat and watched him snatch them out. Over and over and over again, he was posted up on the down drop. From the overpass, fishing the pylons, try it out 👍🏾👍🏾💯💯👍🏾👊🏾👊🏾.
Im trying to do collaboration of send emails but no response bro. Just let me know if we can do the collaboration man and if I can get a little advice from you.
If you keep catching all their spawning fish. How are we gonna have any fish to catch? No wonder we don't have any fish in the lakes. Specially around Iowa because you guys catch all the spawning fish. And then we don't have any to eat or catch. an you take the sport away?
lol are you serious? There are millions of them. I have nothin to do with your fish in Iowa. I’m in Texas. Sorry man. Catching 10 spawning fish in 2 days will do absolutely NOTHIN to the fish population.
Keeping potentialally spawning fish and putting them in a basket/net and stressing them out just so you can take a 15 sec clip of you pulling them back out while counting like a toddler as you release them is pretty cringe.
This comment is pretty cringe considering the millions of crappie out there and you want to complain about 5. Lol you have no idea about spawning crappie. Just shows the ignorance.
How’s this any different then a bass master pulling knowingly spawning bass of their beds, dragging them around the lake and being released miles away from home??? The above seems to be widely accepted
