Based on Kyo Kusanagi of KOF fame, this character's Rekkas have an added bonus of being able to cancel into any other special move! Like my other characters, he is a 6 button character, with some liberties taken with the H version of his special attacks. What kind of crazy combos can YOU come up with when wielding WannaKOF's combo freedom?
I wonder what happens if you use his combo ability to rack up a 30 hit combo...?

this the finisher a reference to the end of Riki-oh live action movie.
On top of that, it's also a reference to Evo where it ends every year with a clip of that very scene. Kyo ends the King of Fighters Tournament by freeing the rest of the cast in that super.
Your characters all have a special charm that makes me love them so much. You never cease to bring joy by making such marvelous creations. I am happy about this, really.

Can't tell you how grateful I am that you keep making content. You're one of a precious few talented MUGEN creators that are still around.
Would you consider re-releasing the A-series in the future? Maybe on a separate page. I didn't get the chance to download them all because I didn't realize they were gonna be gone after the joke was over.

Any characters you make and trailers you release for them, I'm ALWAYS hyped for them and this is one of them!! I enjoyed Vargverse so VERY much and that game got me the motivation to make my main roster look MUCH better and less messy and more sorted out than my previous one!! The jumpscare of Kyo was soo scary dude.
Did you even make any edits? This is exactly how I remember Kyo's gameplay in KOF '98, right down to Kyo transforming into a sword, which grows arms and rapidly punches the opponent.
That IS what Kyo meant when he said "Kusanagi's fists," right? He means the fists of the literal Kusanagi sword of legend.
And yes, you caught me, this is a 100% accurate depiction of Kyo in KOF 98
@@squishsquishimafish6348 There is one important aspect of '97/'98 Kyo that hasn't been shown in the trailer; when his health is low, he should be able to spam 'Final Showdown' without any meter.
Despite using Kyo 98's sprites and sounds, this character isn't meant to be a portrayal of 98 Kyo (Or really any specific iteration of him). I just kinda did whatever I felt like as per usual.

That sound bite is from an old baseball game for the Sega Master System called Reggie Jackson Baseball. It's actually saying "Hit by a pitch!" But it doesn't quite sounds like that to me.

The audio comes from a old reaction video for the reveal of stages for the then upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. They go nuts when they see Palutena's Temple and scream how obviously banned from competitive play it will be.
