I have not done yoga for a year or more, but everytime I go to the doctor or do something which I find very intimidating I sing this song inside of me and it really helps so much!
You're not alone.....first time I heard this I sat here and bawled like a baby.....loosened up a lot inside of me. Listening to it again and I'm not crying, but my eyes are welled up....so peaceful it hurts.
I love Deva's beautiful voice. And this is one of my favorite mantras that she does. My other favorite chant artist is Sacred Circles. Of all chant/mantra artists out there, Sacred Circles is consistently peaceful and beautiful - like Deva Premal. I can't wait until Sacred Circles gets some videos up here, but in the mean time, their lead vocalist, Nandapriya, has a video for her Turn Up the Peace project. It is awesome what they are doing. Check it out!

Tat refers to 'that', or 'all that is'. Sat refers to 'the absolute truth', that which is not evanescent or ephemeral, the underlying basis of everything, which is most fundamental and universal.

the world has periods of imbalance, sort of like today, than one of gods reprentatives is sent to bring balance, if us as people were not inportant to god, than why would he or she wouldve wasted time and effort to send these representatives, gods' hand is allways reached out to us even if we lived in evil ways, its up too us too reach out to god, and know that we equal too eachother, leave the rest to god, and lets get allong for our sake
