This has nothing to do with this video but I need help. I just got a travel trailer and It’s a 30 amp. I want to plug it into my house, I have the camco adapter that allows me to plug into my house sockets on the outside. Do I plug that into the house and the surge protector into that camco adapter, then run an extension cord I got to my trailer?
As long as the surge protector is inline between the RV and where you’re plugging into you’ll have protection for the RV. I would put it right onto the 15-30 amp adapter then plug the RV into the surge protector. Just keep in mind you can only use a max of 1,800 watts through the 15 amp adapter.
Well, you're too far away to do an inspection for me, but do you know a team of inspectors around the Dallas-Fort area?
Yes, check the description of the RUclips video and you’ll see the link to find a certified near your area by entering your zip code.
