Few people are as genuine as Alan. I fell for him as a teenager while watching MASH. I realized when I was an adult that the quality I was responding to was his genuineness. He eyes are so amazingly expressive.
Just looking at him makes me laugh. Then he speaks and he's still funny. Imagine hanging out with this guy having a beer? It would be a riot with his personality and stories.
I don't mean to discount his other work, but I am such a huge fan of M*A*S*H. There are several sitcoms I love. Mind you, one of the things that made M*A*S*H so great is that we can't just call it a sitcom. I've said so many times "in the year 5,000, M*A*S*H will still be the best sitcom ever made.
This was one of the best 17 minutes anyone could have. Alan is a National Treasure. Thank you Rich for having him on your show. Bravo!

I just love Alan Alda as Hawkeye.

Alan Alda wins the internet every time he does an interview
Wow, could the desk be any higher from the guest?
Guess you don't watch Colin Cowherd. His podium above the guest is so high you'd of thought he was the Holy Messiah.
Magnificent Alan ❤️

Does Rich Eisen run a Court? What is with the desk? Power issues?
Compensating for something.....
This guy's desk is a little bit of noxious. It reminds me of Mr. Potter's, from it's a wonderful Life.
If he was English he would have been knighted already.
Alan Alda killed a man in a bar fight
"What do you mean, you 'ran the wrong way'"? SMH
