Watched this video based on your suggestion in your 120 video. This is like looking in a mirror. I learned to skate (again) at FVSC and watch both Dirty Deb and Marilyn Tantrum. My practice is done on basketball courts, but I also do a full skate on beach and park trails. Your workout is very inspirational.
Thanks Jeanine 😁, as you and I have learned... In order to get better it requires getting out there and working on the basics. Believe it or not I'm still doing the same routine 🤣. I have started working on some dance skating indoors on a small spot of vinyl flooring at my front door. That's a lot of fun , just put on some music and go for it🙌🏾🙌🏾. Do you ever go to the skating rink?
@@allabouthim03 You’re welcome Carl. 😊 I typically pick 3 things to practice, and do a combo with things I’ve learned previously. I like your approach, and will try something similar. I’ve added 1 and 2-foot slolems and 1-foot glides to my list too, eventually moving with music. I sometimes skate at the rink after work or on my days off. Love those adults only sessions!
@@jeaninejulian2596 I like your approach also, combos...got to work on those. We have a small rink here but there is no adult night. The kids skate all over the place, no etiquette, no dancing.. just sliding and skating all over the place. And they play the same tired Michael Jackson music mix someone made 20 years ago🤣. It's just something for the kids, not many adults show up anyway. Enjoy😜
If you are an indoor rink skater, I highly recommend going outdoors just to be able to go clockwise (most indoor are counter clockwise). I started indoors for a full month (3x a week) and when I went outdoors my other leg was super weak! I realize it was because at my rink I can't go counter clockwise!! so yeah always practice and exercise both legs for moves...outdoors allows that option more than indoor.
I love roller workouts! Great vid
This seems like great exercise. 👍🏽
It's an awesome exercise for legs and core. Plus you can go to the rink and have some fun and not know you are exercising 😁
Now, I understand why you glide so well while skating. Great job! All your practing has really paid off.
Thanks for this

Great drills! Would have been nicer though if the camera was closer to see better what you were doing.
Soo true, I didn't realize the low angle would be so bad.

So true 👍🏾! As noted in my video I do ALL my exercises going both way👍🏾.
