I think the road is more interesting using the ingot piece but those can be difficult to find in large quantities. The guard wall is also beautiful so great job!
I love the series so far and one idea I have for the droid base elevators is that there could be one or two hidden panels in the road so that the droids can get out of the base and surprise attack the clones.
For the rocky roads I’d say you’ll need to be very careful with which color you leave under the rocks, please don’t leave the light green in case you do end up going that route
Coconut! Remember to add some snow on top of the retaining stone wall and spread throughout the city, as well as on top of the buildings! Otherwise it’s looking so perfect! Can’t wait to see the finished product! Keep up the good work.
The ingot and cobblestone roads both look pretty good to me. I think it could be interesting if you tried to use both. Maybe less used and ruffer areas could have the cobblestone, while more industrial and populated could use the ingot, which might solve the issue of you not enough for a full city. Great video!
Been loving this series so much! For the road, I think the ingots look better, especially for the sort of “rich” vibe you seem to be going for, but like you said the cobblestone would be easier to fit figures on, and matches the “Japan look” you also seemed to want, so I think overall the cobblestone would be a better choice! Keep up the great content 👍
I'm definitely in the camp of preferring the tiled off ingot road. For studs, I'd just do 1x1's or jumper plates, the minifigs will cover up the studs fairly well. Maybe add some more jumpers/1x2 plates or 1x1 plate/tile combos to add a little more detail.
On the topic of the droid base elevators... maybe make pop up sections in the middle of the road, kind of like the droid barricade on Geonosis from landing at point rain.
the cobblestone look definitely fits the sort of rich-city vibe you're trying to give this moc, i would go with it and I'd imagine it wouldnt be too hard to fit some 1x1 and 1x2 plates in there
For the cobble Road ive got two Ideas for you Coconut: the first one plays into the second option shown in the video, however using jumper plates, to offset the ingot pieces in a like twentyfive degree angle, so there are also slits inbetween them, making it look more rustical. For the second idea, you again use jupers and regular plates to offset one by plates by half a std lengthwise and the put the pizza corner piece on the studs, in a 45 degree angle, to create a more traditional medieval cobblestone pavement. Both Ideas are not mine, the credit goes to the german RUclipsr Bob Brickman for coming up with these beautiful techniques. Ive linked you the two videos, introducing the techniques. Though these are in german unfortunately. (a german myself) Ingot / flat tile :ruclips.net/video/QJb_BtXefuI/видео.html (3:00) Pizza corners: ruclips.net/video/p8OVc376puY/видео.html (0:03)
Its been great to see the city started! I think the one using ingots looks best but equally you could add more of the round 2x2 tiles to it instead of the round plates.
If you go with the ingot style you could mix in 1x2 jumpers for studs, they’ll probably be easier to conceal and the spacing between them won’t be as standardized as the typical grid allowing for a more interesting dispersion of figures walking in a group.
For the water treatment plant, I think a combination of the roof of those other houses on it would seem like a recent addition and give the city more depth! Btw, love the tiles and would love to see them implemented.
If you do the cobble stone road I highly recommend using more round 2x2 tiles instead of the plates or jumpers, it gives it a smoother look you would expect a weathered area to look. Add in some 1x1 round plates to get studs for placing figures.
I love your building Coconut and I think for the road the ingot pieces looks better. Although they might be hard to find in a larger quantity, but I believe if you want to make the road with any other piece you will be able to do it and make it look amazing. Continue your great builds weekly and keep up the good work man.
i like the idea of the ingot cobble road, for studs in the road you could even use 1 by 2 jumper plates. this build series is awesome! keep up the good work
For the droid base, you could build another floor in teh 'underground' between the surface and the current secret droind base. Then, you can add elevators that fit underneath the surface building
Great job Coconut! The city has been probably my favorite part of this series, especially because you can do your own design with it. I think either of the road options would work well. Thanks for the great content, keep up the fantastic work!
Coconut use the ingot pieces for the streets, the other design leaves to many gaps and the green underside will show, plus the ingot pieces look better
Whoa Coconut, I really like the fact that you appropriate the city of mygeto, this medieval style is very nice and unique. but I wonder why you didn't try to be inspired by the first Star Wars Battlefront 2 where it can circulate in the streets of mygetto? I really like the style of the city, and I think it gives you a certain freedom which is important for us moc builders, but it's a question I'm wondering about your latest updates. Thank you for your content and your constant updates
You could build a secret repulsor lift platform into the road wich is slighty lowered to simulate it elevating from the droid Base. Then you can put droid reinforcements for the battle in the city on that so maybe some kind of ambush.
for the droid base while you haven't finished the wall side going form the underground base and the city you could add another floor to the base and push it to the left so it would be rigth under the entry in the city so you woldn't have any alinment problem any more
I think for the road you should do the cobblestone method but use the tile circles and add the normal ones in every now and then so that way it’s not too flat or too bumpy.
You could Maybe even mix both techniques, ingots for the main road and cobble stone for side paths. If you decide for only one, in my opinion the ingots fit the city better.
Week 14...you could say 'wow, you're far' or 'there's still a lot to go', but to me this seems to be coming along pretty quickly. I haven't built large scale MOCs, but it seems like this will be done before week 30!
You should put an AT-RT with a clone piloting it around the city to look like it was patrolling that area also good update on the moc see you next week coconut ❤
I would say that you could create a cool droid base that was set up in a destroyed building... so you have lots of typical architecture but also a droid base.
I personally like the tiled look better because it gives off more of a modern scifi look like the rest of the city but i’m sure whatever you make will be cool anyway.
Can Your Next Moc be The Kamino Bad Batch Escape with Crosshair where they use the underwater tunnel PLS. Seeing Your Amazing Progress on the Mygeeto Moc and All the gray smooth plating reminded me of Kamino and I think It would be a great use of parts once You finish Mygeeto.
cobble road is better for availability and minifigures standing also its more of a community built road (btw i love ur vids on this series i was literally waiting all night for this build keep up the good work)
I would build three houses, possibly enlarge this part of the city to built these three houses, and put droid patrols on the streets and a few clones hiding behind a house or attacking a patrol.
I think the road is more interesting using the ingot piece but those can be difficult to find in large quantities. The guard wall is also beautiful so great job!
I think so too :)
6:56 a mix of both would be nice, caus the ingot thing is a lil to "clean"
I like the tile road a lot more, you should definitely use that style.
I think the stone tiled look is better for the city. Great update!
I love the series so far and one idea I have for the droid base elevators is that there could be one or two hidden panels in the road so that the droids can get out of the base and surprise attack the clones.
I like the cobblestone but the cross in the middle of the circles looks weird but the style is better
Nice update❤ looking good, I definitely prefer the cobbles over the ingots
I think you should use the tile/ingot look for the road. Keep up the great work
For the main road you could use the flat 2x2 rounded tiles and flat 2x2 rounded tiles with stud, the ingot methods good too
Depending on how you feel about the implications of the technique you could use putty to attach Minifigs to the little road.
I love to get home from church and then watch a migeeto update
Love to hear it
For the rocky roads I’d say you’ll need to be very careful with which color you leave under the rocks, please don’t leave the light green in case you do end up going that route
You could potentially just use both path ideas, the ingots for the main road, and for the paths to the houses the circular studs.
That is my plan that way I can have both designs.
For the droid base there could be a space to repair octopara droids and a dance floor for the droids like it’s the Lego games
Coconut! Remember to add some snow on top of the retaining stone wall and spread throughout the city, as well as on top of the buildings! Otherwise it’s looking so perfect! Can’t wait to see the finished product! Keep up the good work.
Cobbled circles would work really well with layered snow and some vegetation
I really like the tilled road design using those ingot pieces.
I think the ingot road is better 😁
This is an amazing video, it would be really great if you incorporated custom builds from republic bricks, they have awesome builds you can use
God tbis looks so cool! I wish I was this good and had this much room for MOCs. I love your work.
Definitely ingot. It looks very smooth and sleek with still having that Japanese aesthetic.
The ingot and cobblestone roads both look pretty good to me. I think it could be interesting if you tried to use both. Maybe less used and ruffer areas could have the cobblestone, while more industrial and populated could use the ingot, which might solve the issue of you not enough for a full city. Great video!
It’s amazing how you get all that stuff in a week. Dark bluish, gray tile, ingots, and studs are what my son prefers for the road.
Coconut make another underground droid floor, but make another elevator leading to the “water reatment” otherwise it looks insane though!
The progress every week is crazy to see
Glad to hear that!
Have fun!

Thanks for the feedback.
Its been great to see the city started! I think the one using ingots looks best but equally you could add more of the round 2x2 tiles to it instead of the round plates.
Definitely do the ingots for the road. This moc looks great!
do the ingot road
cobble road looks fire

but also the cobble road would allow for more flow and organic corners which might look better since it will be going from house to house
For the droid base, you could build another floor in teh 'underground' between the surface and the current secret droind base. Then, you can add elevators that fit underneath the surface building
Truly great stuff is waiting for us!
Great job Coconut! The city has been probably my favorite part of this series, especially because you can do your own design with it. I think either of the road options would work well. Thanks for the great content, keep up the fantastic work!
I like the cobblestone look
Coconut use the ingot pieces for the streets, the other design leaves to many gaps and the green underside will show, plus the ingot pieces look better
Looks awesome! I prefer the tile road look
Use ingot peices with the 2x1 tile with a single stud in the middle for figures
Whoa Coconut, I really like the fact that you appropriate the city of mygeto, this medieval style is very nice and unique. but I wonder why you didn't try to be inspired by the first Star Wars Battlefront 2 where it can circulate in the streets of mygetto? Well I just didn't really like the look of what I saw in BF2 and I wanted to get creative and do my own thing with the city.
1:17 Maybe try by overhanging by one stud the tiles on top of the plate, that might work
MOC is very good, but don't you think some things are a bit too blocky?
No not really
looking great. personally I'ma fan of the ingot design for the road, but both look great.
You could build a secret repulsor lift platform into the road wich is slighty lowered to simulate it elevating from the droid Base. Then you can put droid reinforcements for the battle in the city on that so maybe some kind of ambush.
I like the ingot tile more but maybe if you alter the cobblestone look, that could work as well.
The ingots look less rugged which should fit your city better! Although I like the circular cobblestone as a standalone better
the moc looks amazing
for the droid base while you haven't finished the wall side going form the underground base and the city you could add another floor to the base and push it to the left so it would be rigth under the entry in the city so you woldn't have any alinment problem any more
I love the ingot road ❤
Very cool update. Thanks for your hard work.
Your welcome.
My plan is to do both, with the cobblestone design going in front of the doorways
The ingot road definitely gives the rich city effect that comes with migito so I think you should try to pursue that one.
i like how the ingot look better. the cobble stone look might be better on a grey baseplate?
BEST YTC
I love your build you should use the cobble stone tiles for the path way
Week 14...you could say 'wow, you're far' or 'there's still a lot to go', but to me this seems to be coming along pretty quickly. I haven't built large scale MOCs, but it seems like this will be done before week 30!
Cool build and video. So epic
You should put an AT-RT with a clone piloting it around the city to look like it was patrolling that area also good update on the moc see you next week coconut ❤
IMO the cobblestone road looks less elegant for mygeeto
Love vid coconut!
I hear people all the time saying your rockwork isn’t good idk why cause it’s better than what I can make tbh
Tile look, especially since it’s on a mountain top would look really clean in my opinion
Thanks!
That is an awesome build
With the road add piles of snow next to the road to make it look shoveled off of the actual road
I know I’m almost a week late, but I’ve seen people do cobblestone roads with gears before and it looked great
Cheese slopes and side ways tiles should make the transition a lot Smoother with that ramp
Use the ingot pieces for the main road
I would say that you could create a cool droid base that was set up in a destroyed building... so you have lots of typical architecture but also a droid base.
I personally like the tiled look better because it gives off more of a modern scifi look like the rest of the city but i’m sure whatever you make will be cool anyway.
I think I will combine the two.
Great update! The new wall looks amazing! (just wandering if you're you going to put any snow on the top of it?)
Ya there will be snow eventually.
@@coconutbricksstudios Neat.
You could still make a grey street , but make the paths that lead to the houses stones.
Cobblestone doesn’t work for this imo, so I’d go tile. Great work!!!
If you use ingot pieces then you could use jumper plates or the studs to place your figs on. Personally think the ingots look better
That's true
Yes love these updates keep it up
Glad you like them!
Best yt
Yeah the tile is best
For the bridge I think you should add a clone and a battle droid having a fist fight
Can you pls build the battle of kamino next??? It would be awesome!!!
love your build updates👍
You should make a stop motion using this MOC.
I say go with the ingot tile road. Mygeeto doesn’t strike me as a planet with a lot of greenery in its cities so the cobblestone would feel in place.
I think the round plates look better
cobble road is better for availability and minifigures standing also its more of a community built road (btw i love ur vids on this series i was literally waiting all night for this build keep up the good work)
I would build three houses, possibly enlarge this part of the city to built these three houses, and put droid patrols on the streets and a few clones hiding behind a house or attacking a patrol.
Use the ingot method for road!!!!!
I apologize if you mentioned this in another video but how did you get the Galactic Marines because I would like to get some if possible
I decal them
Can you please do some more mini build challenges
I have a couple planned they just take a lot of work
you may need to put a door on the electrical plant building
Use the variant with the ingots.
Since this is separatist-controlled, maybe you should add some droid defences like Particle cannons, turrets etc.
I will add the droid defenses once the city is done.
