    I’ve been making up variations of these exercises after watching many of your videos (and Neil Hallinan’s) describing the left AIC pattern. It’s so liberating to have direction and explanation of why our bodies have become so misaligned and twisted. being in pain and discomfort without direction is a very hopeless feeling, so I really appreciate the free content you provide 👍🏼

    Thank you Conor, my twisted body has been tormenting me for 19 years. When I was 12 I developed osgood-schlatter in my knee and nobody knew why. At times I thought maybe my misalignment was all in my head. Now I know I've had a twisted up body since my tooth grew in crooked as a kid. It threw off my bite and totally effed up my kinetic chain. This constant kinetic malfunction has been a regualr part of my life for damn near 20 nears. I'm 31 now, started invisalign this year and the treatment's almost finished. Then your videos will allow me to fix everything else down to my feet. Thanks again you are changing lives. Nobody ever talks about this

    This was definitely an interesting experience. My left shoulder has always been lower than the right, so I gave this exercise a try. When I was done and started to get up by lifting my head, my spine cracked 4 times, but not painfully, it felt more like things finally jumping back to where they are supposed to be. Now my shoulders are almost completely even, I didn't expect such an immediate change.

    Wow, Writing this I am just baffled how little pain I am currently in after trying this as described. I just feel so relaxed that I wonder if I am high. The retesting man, my body now smoothly turns to the left for what feels like in forever. All the problem areas I've been on a journey the last 8 years with chronic pain. Your videos have lately been extremely helpful, but this is on another level. This is to me the final proof that the ortho I had done as a teen is the cause as it to this day prevents me from biting down and connecting my right molars. Had my final retainers taken out last summer to immediate relief. Now comes the great question of what to do about this as it relates to further dental work. Or not.
    I am beyond grateful at this moment, a rare feeling for someone having lived in such constant nagging pain.
    You mentioned having the beginner body restoration program customized, is this possible by getting in touch through your website? I am anyways sold, going to buy my first online program haha as I have never been more sure that healing is actually possible. You have giving me the greatest gift I could wish for, hope.

      I feel your pain, ive had it for over half my life now but i finally figured out that its just muscle imbalances. Very painful but very fixable reasonably fast it does not take years like other therapist would have you believe but thats all dependent on how much time you put into it. Realign your imbalances and all your pain will disappear including teeth clenching. Mine was spasmed hip flexors and hamstrings which created a domino effect up my body neck jaw and head. Ringing in ears vision blurr compressed stomach flared ribs you name it. Its all muscle imbalances. You have to re teach yourself how to move and use your body or expect to be like that for life. Its also the reason most ppl cant keep weight off either not food intake.

    Hey Conor, I’ve been watching your videos for a few years and they are very insightful. I have been severely stuck in a pattern for years, lots of stiffness and pain all throughout the back and neck. Recently I came across Functional Patterns and started working with a practitioner one on one, it was such a game changer for me, and having had the knowledge from PRI and your videos I was able to tell right away that they focus on the right things. The fundamentals are very similar to what you teach, and their approach has been so effective for me I can barely believe. Have you heard of them? I think an integrated approach between what you offer and what they offer would be more than optimal.

    • @suzanzaman7942
      @suzanzaman7942 5 месяцев назад

      @z.a.79 I tried a bit. However, you must be careful not to damage other things you didn't know you had. We can't see our inside to determine if we are indeed healing one part and not unknowingly creating more problems. I put my trust in the Lord, he still heals , I was reading the book of Job and he suffered bodily pain as well, it has come to my conclusion many of our ailments can be cured by evaluating our mindset. Focus on healing mentally, and the physical will follow. But with God's Word, Satan can not cast out Satan. It will take practice, but you do see results in gratitude and mindshift. Pain sucks, faith is in the unseen, see the unseen, God is spirit, and he is the same yesterday today and forever he still does miracles. I dont do the exercise anymore, God can see your inside. You can't. He will give you revelation where to start if you stop and listen to the small voice . Say I can do all things through christ who strengthens me. Your body will respond to his words. In a good way. Prayer works, exercise patience. Stress doesn't come from things that are good. Things that are not good will produce many problems in all areas. Good luck. And God bless.

    I feel that driving is making my hips shift. I feel comfortable tucking my left foot to the side between the door and seat. It's put my alignment out of wack. If i put my left foot straight, is still making my hips uneven. I try to put my foot where a clutch would be and it just doesn't feel right. I can imagine ride share drivers might be having the same issues.

    if your body is turned towards the right, and your face is weaker on the left with the jaw turned to the left, should you press your jaw to the left side, or the right?

    • @lostjosh250
      @lostjosh250 5 месяцев назад

      I have the same question. Did you figure this out? Do you put the left knee up and put right hand on right side of face to push jaw left (like in the video) or do you put right hand on left side of face to push it to the right (which would seem more logical if i listened to his explanation but that’s not what the demonstration shows)

    • @pxvl.3101
      @pxvl.3101 5 месяцев назад

      @lostjosh250 i haven’t really figured it out yet. right now i‘m just doing both sides, but i‘m afraid that this might just worsen the issue even more. my logic would be that you push your jaw towards the weaker side, so that the muscles on this weak side hold an isometric contraction against the force (pressing towards the right), which would strengthen these muscles on the weak side and center the jaw over time. but what you are saying somehow makes sense too, that the muscles in the jaw get used to being forced to go the right, which would also result in a centering. it‘s really a shame that both approaches somehow make sense. i will start looking through the videos again, maybe he mentions it somewhere. i‘ll keep you updated when i find something

    Hey connor, I’m confused at 5:16 you mention the left knee up and jaw pushed to the right, but in the demonstration the left knee is up and jaw is pushed to the left

    • @conorharris
      @conorharris  7 месяцев назад

      Ah I see the confusion here. What I mean is your jaw is pushing right because your fingers are pushing it left.

      I am more right shifted and just as you mention in the video, my jaw seems more shifted to the left due to this. Why would I want to push my jaw on the right to push it even more to the left? Am i getting this totally wrong? Would deeply appreciate a response, thanks man

    Are there any cues someone with right/or left bias could do while walking which would encourage correct realignment? Ie: finding heel contact, arm swing, pelvis control, breathing exhale or inhale upon foot strike:stance?
