I just fought an Arctovish with this set earlier today, but I crushed it easily because it switched into my Cloud Nine Mamoswine's EQ, then died next turn to another one.
I’m thinking, and this could work even better in trick room, max attack, brave nature, 0 spd ivs, strong jaw with rain up, I went in calc and it almost 1 shots(about 90%) the average corv which feels so cool to say, it can 2 shot max def fluffy ferro, eleki gets 1 shot 3 times over, I don’t know the format to well so u would have to build the team around trick room but I think this could be really strong (I’ve seen a rise in water absorb gliscor while testing this btw so make sure to run something like psychic fangs or ice fang).
I guess technically, I would still rather take normal over bug in most situations. The real issue with rock is that it just pairs really badly with most types. Normal gets good Pokémon as a trade-off for it not being a good type. For the most part bug just gets completely screwed.
