I think there are so many shows out there, so a new one pretty much has to do something controversial, so i welcome that with The Idol. However, i watch it more for the aestethics than the plot, since the scenes are very long and not much is actually happening from episode to episode. My critique though is that no matter what Jocelyn is doing, having weird sex, hurting herself, getting slammed all over the media for *stuff* on her face, she looks beautiful doing it, so there is a bit of romanticizing issues and risky behaviour. You slayed the look at always - and - I've heard we get to see Maddie from Euphoria in an upcoming episode!
@JackieWyers Jackie I absolutely love when you incorporate 90s styles and make 90s make up tutorials. if I can make a suggestion, could you do Sarah Michelle Gellar from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? From her earlier seasons when she was in high school her make up is so 90s and it’s kind of a cross between valley girl and goth. It’s great. ❤❤❤

i don't know about the show but it sounds like that movie "neon demon" which i liked. so i'll have to give the show a shot. love the look too btw. i dont think my pale skin could pull off those warm orangey colors.
I've never heard of neon demon! I'll have to look that up. Sometimes pale skin is the perf canvas for rich tones, but you could always mute it out to champagnes and nudes!!
