Climbing Pu'ukaua and Gorilla Heads | Hawaii 100 Highest Peaks

In this episode of " Hawaii 100 Highest Peaks" we are climbing Pu'ukaua to "Gorilla Heads" rock formation, and traversing to another peak called Pu'ukanehoa.
Pu'ukaua peak is #61 on the list, and it is found in the Waianae Mountains on the west side of O'ahu.
This trails we are hiking today are considered pretty hard, and some parts of it even extreme, because of all the narrow, crumbly ridges we have to traverse.
Please don't use this video as a guide for you future hiking activities. This hiking route it's unsafe and very dangerous, mistakes made up here can have consequences such as serious injury or death. Make sure you know your own limitations and be a safe out there!
In this new series of videos I am embarking on a journey to climb Hawaii’s 100 highest peaks. My list is based on LOJ (listsofjohn.com) which in my opinion is one of the best websites to enlist all the peaks in the USA.

Some of these peaks were never climbed before, or maybe I just couldn’t find any documented attempts or ascents.
