Saw Alice with Kane in 91. This is just so fabulous to see. Nina will certainly be missed, but what a way to fill the gap!

alice looks great last concert i saw of his was back in '71 which was my very first concert at age 15

I reckon Kane's a bit rusty but, hopefully, things will improve.
Wow the backing vocals sound so much different without having Nita’s voice in there. Also not hating on the guy, especially since this has to be one of Kane Roberts first shows back but watching him stand and stare at his fretboard the entire song definitely made me miss Nita’s stage presence.

Alice doesn't need 3 guitarists. It crowds the stage too much. I saw him with Nita last year and they were all stepping all over each other. I saw Alice with Kane during his first run in the band, and he always seemed a little stiff onstage. But he just looks lost in this footage. I think it's telling, too, that Kane's guitar is buried in the mix. Compare it to Ryan's. I'll be surprised if Kane is in the band after this run of dates.

I have to agree. Been a fan since Hey Stoopid hit MTV (I'm not old enough to remember more), almost wrote a book about him (after getting acquainted with Al Pitrelli from his Trashes The World tour). 2 guitars and keys was great. I finally got to see him just before the bug, with Nina, and it was ghastly. 3 guitars, no nuance, just an onslaught of sound. I talked to others afterwards and they all said the same, that the songs lacked something = texture. I've also not been thrilled by his recent albums. They all sound alike for me. I've long said - get off the road, go to the gym, and dump the band.

Been a Cooper fan since 1972, my opinions are (1) three guitarist works really well, keyboardist doesn't (2) best combo is Orianthi, Roxie and Hendrickson (3) Orianthi is probably the best guitarist in the world.

Tremendous improvement from having Nita Strauss in the band. Kane is a great guitarist with great stage presence who doesn't try to hog the stage. To me the Alice show once again feels like the "Alice" show without that showpony running around the stage trying to make it all about her.
Kane has the WORST stage presence in the history of rock!!!!!!! You must be blind!!!!!!!

Funny. But who really cares how they look. They're jamming, making money & having FUN. Alice has religion and no longer drinks so he's stone cold sober yet he's STILL getting in the moment with a great voice. Great memories for us Rockers of the 60s & 70s who just love the LIVE music & positive vibes. Peace. Long LIVE ROCK.
