I live, and ski, in nevada and it's certainly an untapped gem. soooo many beautiful ranges and peaks to explore, with absolutely none of the crowds. a lifetime of snowy (nevada) adventures... Just don't tell anyone else ;)
Thank you (I think) for showing people how amazing and beautiful Nevada is for skiing. As a native Nevadan, I have spent lots of time dreaming about skiing some of the mountain ranges you feature in this video. I know Glen Plake has skied some lines in Central Nevada, so you might get in touch with him. Also, there are many Snotel sites through out the state that can give you some information on snow depth in some of the mountain ranges you want to ski. I can't wait for the next mountain state video!! ⛷

Lived and worked in the ski industry in Tahoe for years . Now I live in Nevada just for skiing and fly fishing it . I have a small piece of property now here and live in one of the mountain ranges that is way skiable . Thanks for the videos and keep em coming 👍🏔️⛷️
Great Video! "Literally" the week b4 this showed up on YT I was scouting lines in NV. I looked at a map and saw ALL THOSE RANGES and the plethora of 10K-near 12K peaks and figured there must be some fun skiing. And noted most of it is close to - nothing. Need to find where the 'Sierra shadow' is least prevalent and find some deep stuff.
I think many dont realize how crazy that stuff is they doing considering the often not ideal snow conditions. Doing this in nice pow vs hardpack and ice is a totally different ballpark.
It is unfortunate people do not have the respect for these places to follow this. They just are “tech-heads” who just cannot put the drone away. National forests and parks should allow hunting of drones in the area. Both productive in protecting the peace of the landscape and fun. XD

Too late, we're coming!! 😎
On my way! A buddy I work patrol with splits his winter between us and Nevada, think I'll make the migration with him this year
It's been so rad getting to ski out there and meeting people... What a treat! Thanks for this!
It was a great adventure 🙌
I love splitboarding in NV. It's always an adventure

Thank you for your comment. We are happy you enjoyed the film. We hope you can ski in the Nevada ranges soon.
Your energy is infectious Josh
Love this terrain and concept of not always needing perfect pow to have fun skiing!
gnarly, thanks for exploring the unexplored.

I am so stoked to see this video! I've been in some of those ranges hunting it recreating, wondering about skiing. Thank you!

Beautiful mountains and beautiful lines 🥰Thank you so much for this so motivational video ☺️
Thank you for watching 🙌
Great movie. So many big lines out there!
Thank you 🙌
Cool place to go hot tenting.
Awesome video. 👍
Thank you 🙌
Song choices quite overwhelming as Salomon films commonly have. Other than that really nice film and love seeing Josh in a spotlight!
Those are only 2 ranges as well! I hope they do more
That's the plan!!! So much more to ski out there...
What has been your most memorable moment skiing? Tell us in the comments below. 🙌
Sounds like DJ Evans couldn't keep up😅
Who knew Nevada had skiing?! But looks a bit thin, with lots of rocks underneath. I wouldn't like to see the state of the ski bases afterwards.
What’s the first song called?
Great sea - hans johnson
Please write an online guide to the mountain state
sick!
Shout out to the skiing the basin project: ruclips.net/user/WNCorporation
josh likes to go fast
You are right 🙌
Sand dunes- Maltese Flamingo style
Home means Nevada
Nevada is amazing 😍
That’s what you think about Nevada, because you’re a flatland gaper…OMG. The American mountain scene is a joke.
OMG, another boring flatland transplant, yikes.
Please don't use drones in designated Wilderness Areas. Thank you.
They only fly them over your house.
Found the Karen!
So we’re not allowed to fly drones in the city and also you can’t fly in the middle of nowhere sounds like sum bullshark. And your welcome

Stupidest shit I ever read, its literally the safest place to fly a drone
It is nice, but NOT rad!!!
Ok Boomer…
Josh is probably the fastest skier at the moment. Amazing how he is skiing fast. 👍⛷
