My husband just send me this film...i'm in tears now... We were going to make this trip in october, for about the 17th time...we just cancelled the trip this week...I feel so sad...we have been planning this since november 2019...never heard of Corona then... this year I have to 'survive' on memories....😥 and RUclips....😏
Hi thanks for your message! Yes it's sad not be able to travel as before for the moment but it'll surely be possible again at one point. We also had to change our plans but going North again is still in our minds ;)
C est top! Ca me rappel de bons souvenirs! J ai de la famille a Halmstadt, Torup et Ullared! Faut que j'me choppe un Land Rover également ! Salutations d un compatriote Vaudois!
If you guys were in Brandstorp it was your car I saw when we was on our way to Dalarna on an Land Rover-meeting. To bad we didn’t stop. Sorry for that!!! Glad you liked it up her in Swe. Welcome again!!!
Hi Steve. Thanks a lot. Yes it was beautiful & we loved the small part of Sweden we visited. Absolutely beautiful & peaceful in fall. Sure it's the same in Oregon☺
Hi thanks for your message. This depends on where we plan to go but most of the time we don't prep any roadbook before leaving. We choose a country or an area and simply go. Then enjoy a day by day planning and organise on the spot. But yes, this is a good topic for sure. Would you be interested in any tips for prep or more interested in having an actual roadbook?
@@offtrackfamily the way i do, is nearly tbe same... But i also prepare sometimes with Géoportail for france (i'm a frenchie) I also use a lot wikiloc app to plan my trips. My gps tool overall is Iphigénie with offline ign maps. All of that is okay for a weekend. But i would prepare a 4/5 days trip, I'm asking myself why not buying a roadbook, or, asking a community on... Facebook ? ... Or preparing a good one, but, what to combine, road / offroad mix, how much ? Are offroad roads authorised? Things to visit, where to find good things to visit, Guide michelin, guide du routard? Here are somewhere to answer you 😉
Merci pour tout ce détail :) La question du off-road et des bivouacs est tjs compliquée car les règles sont différentes dans chaque pays. Mais les roadbooks font bien partie de nos projets ;)
Thanks. Sorry we don't have the exact gpx track for this one but we will probably make some roadbooks in the future but only on our website www.offtrackfamily.com Don't hesitate if you have more questions!
Peaceful and quiet, lovely scenery.
Thanks for your comment! Happy to see that you like it! Stay tuned!
