Gotta laugh at those who gave a thumbs down. They have to be jealous guitar players who think they can do it better. Just a great song with great playing.

Any thumbs down dude is a Cyndi Lauper/ Barbara Streisand fan. You really cant get more Rock Godlike than writing/playing/singing somthing this thoughtfully tight. Damn. I wish I could have too Monte......played like THAT!

Monty "live" is quite an experience!!!!! watching his stuff on you tube is nice but when you see him live it's on a whole different level !!!!!!
Monte...you are amazing, no one out there like you and what you do. Your live performances will be fused in my brain forever.
Something I will always love about Monte's style of playing. Is that his guitar solo's sing lyrics by themselves. Just listening to the story that he tells using the strings. His lyrics are powerful, always have been, but it's the story he tells through those solo's that always get me hooked.

OmG what is this. This guys is seriously out of the world. I mean how could they think of such kind of music. What routine do they follow. If i practice 8 hours daily for 6 months, even then i wont be able to reach that level. Mind blowing. Mind boggling.. Hats off

I met Monte at the Guitar institute Of Technology when I was studying there some months back. I got to tell you an absolutely humble person and an incredible musician and guitar player. This man is a huge inspiration to me when it comes to playing acoustic guitars :) Monte keep up the amazing work.

I have to have a few hours of M.M every couple of months. If you love blues, Jazz, Bluesy rock, great progressions, the vehicle, the Genious and Soul of a Giant Guitarist, singer, composer arranger...what a tone and timber!

LISTEN to Mirror..I still think his best album..Ran into him in 1995 driving thru austin on KLBJ...He is doing the usual on acoustic drop eq, but he drives it with something that gives him an electric eq..Some of the newer players are using a dimarzio pickup, so to get a little closer its most likely his pickups..As far as his effects after he has them tuned for it..Go see him live its unbelievable.. He does things on the acoustic that are not possible..His Alvarez has blown up on him 5-6 times..bahahahaha!!
