Can anyone confirm if they’re able to run up the sides of mountains? Context: my duo and I died to a team and decided to spectate someone with 18 kills (finished at 24). We saw him scale all the mountains in the ice area, we tried to replicate this but could not, on top of him having picture perfect aim. We reported him for hacks of some kind, but unlike this guys videos, epic clearly doesn’t give a shit about banning anyone that is not in a cash cup. At any rate, you defo can’t run up the sides of fucking mountains right? (This guy was level 600)

so my recap: season 1: great start, actually enjoyable of a season. i loved all the new items, mobility was fun but not too OP, i think the map was fantastic too, with a lot of diffirent things that all fit together well. The weapons were also nice, mods were fun, it was all good to use. Honestly, one of great enjoyable seasons. I give season 1 8/10 season 2: great concept, new medallions, and items. the story should have been amazing but it kinda fell off, and the avatar mythics replaced greek ones for a month, which kinda sucked. the map changes made it worse, and uglier, and it just didnt make much sense in general with how everything was placed. still a fun season tho. 6/10 season 3: very controversial, but i never had that much fun gaming in a long while as i had this season. what i didnt really like were all the new POIs, just too massive one building things, it kinda didnt fit very much. also, the map got so much bigger towards the bottom. story was good, the loot pool was fun, and also reload came out. but also if you werent in a car you were screwed. i give it 7/10 season 4: as a casual player, i did not get this season at all, i like the skins, story is ok, but everything else is not it. the map is super messy, the loot pool is weird, and there is just so many better people its very hard for me to win now. i lost a lot of interest in season 4 and i wont even finish the battle pass. 5/10 For the future, Chapter 6. What changes are good to keep and what not. - Medallions are great, but how they were in season 1 towards the end. More medallions is more shields, you know what the person you are fighting has, and they were not OP or just trash. - Vaults, same as season 1. I am not a fan of the bunkers and I think the reward of defeating a boss to get the vault was great. Also, the map is cleaner that way. - Train, sure keep it I am looking foward to chapter 6, and I hope that they make it fun to play. PS Please can they fix the UI, Lucker and rarities!!!!

The whole chapter was basically nonstop nonsense after season 1. Season 3 was the most bullshit I’ve ever had to deal with on the game before. Season 4 I actually had a lot of fun with but was just so bored of the map I stopped playing. I’m honestly hoping next chapter scraps the weapon modding.
Season 1 was really good. Retained atleast a bit of the og players and pretty much sealed the hat trick for 3 really good seasons. Medallions were really fun and broken before nerfs, but they were needed. The reaper sniper was broken because of the other guns becoming projectiles. “Why use anything other projectiles when you can just the fastest and highest damaging one?”. I didn’t really play season 2 but it didn’t do anything crazy. Unique medallions were cool, but I preferred season one, because it meant you could drop any of the poi’s for the mythic or otherwise. The wings were balanced, because they were super risky mobility with the extra hit box. Now we get to the best season of the chapter 5, that lasted for one week. Cars were by far some of the most fun I’ve ever had in the game before. I remember a squads game where all of my mates got the brutal beachhead mythic car and then fought another squad all with their own cars in the dunes. We were shooting at all different angles, screaming into our mics to repair, it was awesome. Then the sweats starting whinging because they had no friends and it all went away. Good battle pass that season, liked the map expansion and roaming bosses. Season 4 I didn’t really play either, and it didn’t have anything going for it. The battle pass was really bad (only good ones were war machine and shuri) and the loot pool and mythics were whack. The burst was cool though. All in all? For me it would top chapter 3, only good season there was season 3 (and season 1, sure😒). Sorry for the whole essay, just wanted to say that season 3 was goated and I don’t like shockwaves because they are too sweaty.
This was probably the only chapter I really started to get into the game and grinding the BPs to get the skins cause let´s be honest cosmetics this chapter were peak (at least most were). I had a lot of fun with the broken shit cause I don´t really take this game seriously enough to complain about broken bullshit (except for melee weapons, please stop adding almost teleporting movement in close quarters, I know melee is fun but when trying to shoot someone with a shotgun and the guy is just zooming all around you because of how much you move when attacking, its impossible most of the time). But not gonna lie, this was one of the worst chapters, not gonna lie. Things that seemed interesting never got the bright that need it. Weapon customization would´ve been great if it wasn´t fully centered on closed spaces where people just camp the whole game, making scanning NPCs extremely necessary to have. If they made that you could find upgrade benches around the map in POIs then this problem would´ve been solved. Medallions were good, nuff said. Even if I have my complains those were the best thing from the chapter, season 1 is probably still my favorite because of the simplicity of it all (yes, even with the frenzy and sniper)

Tbh, it all comes down to prespective. I started playing in chapter 5 season 1, and I loved all of chapter 5, even wrecked for a bit, but that was bound to get boring. Most people didn't start playing in chapter five so when what they were accustomed to changed, they din't like it.
this was the first chapter i actually played quite a bit- definitely the most ive played since chapter 1, but surprisingly i had a lot of fun with this chapter. a lot of it was definitely cringe, but i really enjoyed all the elements theyve added to the game; creative, festival, and br was always fun with friends (i never play solo). not to mention i dropped some of my highest kill games this chapter

This just proves that epic is trying to evolve and grow but I'd say that Thai chapter was good but yes it had some downfalls that really took the fun out of it. But I don't think it was the worst chapter. Sadly cheaters are what ruined the game for me this chapter. Also the bullet drop was a bit to much and changed too often on every gun that it made it impossible for a casual player like me that plays maybe 2-6 hours a week at most to learn how to shoot at a distance. Also everyone loves the new pistol but it feels inconsistent on controller especially at range. Yet I get killed from 120m with the same gun. And truthfully I believe this season did appeal to the casual player way more than any other chapter. This season was intentional other seasons it was not. The car season was all for the casuals and I know it turned a lot of people off but it was fun to know that chaos was coming and there is not guarante you will win or lose. By the end of the season when the sweats all complains and everything was changed to be more stagnant then it became a bunk season in my opinion. I just hope they can figure out a good compromise for bullet scan/drop and seperate competitive and casual again. Let the sweats have competitive and of they want to play casual then don't complain that shit is busted.
I think epic should make mechanics that casuals could learn and find counters for so it still takes brain power to play the game while still being fun.

Literally one thing that destroyed Chapter 5... Map space. Way to small. All advanced eye catching terrians were to stacked together and blended in with each other. Putting that aside, Chapter 5 Season 1 was a fresh start, and the 2nd good thing was Season 4 with all the updated season maps taking over the default Chapter 5 map which made the game a bit more fun. Having to wait 6 months for a good game was the worst. Sorry but it won't be missed
