The simple fact of it is, from a marketing stand-point alone, Brian is what made East 17 as successful as it was as a commercial venture because every young woman in England fancied him, and THAT is the ultimate in terms of success when it comes to boy bands. Mortimer likes to style himself as a 'Brian Wilson of boy bands' nowadays, which could have been true had he not sided with Watkins over Brian and ruined the band. I'm sure Blair is a nice....uh....geezer, but he's not the lead singer of East 17 and Tony knows it. Tony is brilliant though.

Brian has been fighting many battles for some time And for good reason but ... ! My advice to Brian is at some point he has to move on and make the most of the life he has rather than fighting every day and wearing himself out ...
