- So I played this game a bit as a kid, a long time ago, but I was never very good at it. Recently I started playing it again on tablet and have been having lots of fun with it. I thought the game was quite meditative and atmospheric on PC so I decided to make a video. No real goals in mind for it, I just wanted to show the early parts of the game that may feel nostalgic for some. As a bonus I managed to get 10 quest points and reach at least lvl 10 in all the f2p skills. Hope you enjoy!

Something about the music and gameplay, along with playing at your grandparents house during Christmas time as a kid was so magical to me
not only that, getting your first PHAT before christmass day randomly training before all the foods ready, truly magical thank you for sharing that .

As silly as it seems, this is the type of OSRS content I like to see, not all the rushing to endgame and grinding the bosses every episode.

Balance of just enough depth, simplicity of graphics, charming music and quests that didn't take themselves too seriously, and the unruly attitudes of early internet trying to rob you blind at the bank = paradise
finally a osrs video that doesnt have someone constantly shouting into my ear about how they got a 5k kc pet

You know I feel like in many ways people rushing to 99s, bossing, endgame items and the game going from being "let's just hang out and have fun" to "This is grindscape if you don't have a maxed account what are you even doing get an inferno cape now or you suck" rather killed the fun, relaxed and layedback gameplay and attitude most players had back in the mid 2000s. Take me back to the days when Runescape was about having fun, chilling with friends and never really getting anything done beacause you're just having too much fun to care about levels, wealth or skills..

I really loved this! Great to sleep. If you're planning on doing more it'd be nice to have a version without the rain. When I'm going to bed it's great but I sometimes like to have videos like this on doing some work to keep me focused.

I remember playing the older classic build back in junior high in 2001 before they went full low poly 3D, I think its called Classic or RS1 now but I heard they shut it down and can’t be accessed anymore

Ah this video was made a couple months before I made an update to ScreteMonge's 3D Weather plugin that muffles the weather/storm sounds whilst you're standing indoors. It adds a lot to the sleepy vibes 😎

This is perfect, I’ve been looking for a good OSRS longplay forever! My only suggestions would be to lower the sound effects to be not so loud in comparison to the music/rain, and to make the game a bit darker with the runelite plugins so it looks like night time. Still amazing as is though thank you.
The sfx are too loud for me. The music and the ambience is perfect but the sfx keeps waking me up unfortunately.

Genuinely I'd love to sleep to something like this, but the thunder and rain is wayyyy too loud over the music. If you just brought it down a few notches it'd be perfect. But do keep in mind, that's just my opinion

Only the leveling up sound ruins the mood, but otherwise it's perfect
thunder makes this unlistenable. I love it, but by no means could I ever sleep to this. I'm here trying to just listen while I work and the thunder is incredibly jarring
In-game SFX are a bit too loud as well, in my opinion

You can literally do anything you want there's no game like it. Because of this you'll be stood in one area arguing with strangers. But if you have the desire you can go on the most amazing journey of your gaming life
