This isn’t Pokémon, every “unwinnable” matchup is theoretical ‘cause it assumes optimal play on both sides, which obviously doesn’t always happen.

I hope this isn't taken to poorly if the commentator reads this, but I find pure play-by-play commentary to be quite boring.
I like mixing in bits of humor as well as facts specific to the characters and/or the matchup. If you have knowledge of the players themselves you can mix in facts about their history or playstyles.
Bro we know what the moves are. Just calling out what's happening isn't commentating.
These types of commentators kind of bother me. Making claims on a matchup advantage based on anecdotal experience rather than the competitive scene is something anyone who plays online can do.
In the commentators defense this match up is pretty shit when ridley knows how to edge guard and ledge trap which Noah's was fairly sub optimal.
