I imported mine into Australia with a couple extra straps 10 years ago. I'm going to check them know for wear before hunting season. LWCG are saying on their youtube channel they will start supplying straps again so we'll have to wait.
I just purchased a sit and climb for $75 from a garage sale. Belts look good, but the guy said he bought it about 15 years ago and used only a few times a year, until about 6 years ago. It’s been in hanging in a storage. I tried it the other day, jumped up and down etc a few feet from ground to check for failures etc. I have ran into the belts issue! Can be found. Hopefully LWCG will have some soon, which is what I’ve read. Mine may be ok but since they’re 15 years old I’d rather replace.
Ok so LW is getting the climbers ready to come out. Probably not in time for deer season and if the hang ons are any indication, they will be above $500.
$10 and a beer says there is a legal patent dispute over those traction belts. Too weird that would be avoided on purpose - especially when buyers are paying.
that is what i am hearing. I called multiple locations and looked online and they say item was discontinued. You may find some somewhere that have some old stock.... good luck. The one place i found some at (about a month ago) was presleys outdoor and they now say out of stock. Maybe someone will start to make some ... who knows

LWCG makes replacement traction belts that are compatible with the old LW climbers

For the record, l loved mine. It was not comfortable but the weight, carry, and cast stand were the strengths that held up its value.
I have the OG assault climber. Original belts great shape yet. Love the stand but went to a hang on and sticks

Have you checked to see if the XOP belts will work?
i have not, it would be nice if they did
They are not compatible. It mentions on the XOP website that they are not compatible with the LW belts.
