This video doesn't say much and appears to be alot of rambling. Although it has some good ideas there isn't much explanation to anything.
You are able to see through the nonsense here my friend. She is actually saying very little. She was a senior teacher who looked the other way for nearly 5 decades of serious physical abuse, emotional abuse, murder by HIV (Vajra Regent) and rape and said and did nothing. When she was publicly exposed and forced to say something she said as little as possible and her PR team swoshed in and eventually she got an interview with Opera where she said very little. You see through her and see that she is full of nonsense and hot air. I pray for her as a Buddhist and hope that the propagation of some genuine Buddhism that may have resulted from her mostly BS preaching did more good than the inactions that we know about did harm. We are talking serious harm here.

Lovely soul. But I have no idea why anyone picked this particular 4 minutes to show. Pema is just rambling. One cute off color joke and thats it. I wanted to see if this video would help me decide to get her cd. But I cant buy her recording based on this. As an aside, it is too bad buddhists dont get into real world politics. They are the few 'groups" you could vote for automaticallly....knowing that they will bring caring and integrity to their post. Hey...what a great idea...lets get a buddhist for our next president. One US president as a buddhist could cause a domino effect on all the other countrys. Sad that the thich Nat Han's and Dalai Lama types dont see that really taking political action towards peace on earth would work so much faster than just their usual meditations and chants. After all, look what ancient Japan disintegrated to in Samurai times with plenty of Buddhists all over sitting and meditating on peace. It is time for buddhists to break with tradition, or.....influence those who have power. Has the world really gotten any saner since Samurai times with millions of buddhists in Japan and Tibet alone giving their lives for nothing. We need something new. Something to wake all of us up, regardless of belief. Anyone with me?

Why would you ever want anyone like Pema Chodron in charge of anything ever. She was a pampered Tantric teacher and turned a blind eye to rape, murder by HIV, torture, psychological, physical, emotional and milieu based abuse and was, by default, an participant in the abuse. Her apology was late and where is she now? Why is she not pursuing justice for Shambala victims? Why does she not speak out? Why? She is some old white lady who clearly just doesn't give an F. She implanted phobia into mediators for years and it turns out she was a comfort seeking monster just brow beating others.
@@libbydorsey F off. He is fine. The fact that you missed that Pema overlooked the rape of young girls, refused to let them speak and then overlooked murder by HIV by the Vajra Regent is the real problem not some guy on RUclips giving a positive review.
