I get it. It’s very disheartening when camera equipment gets stolen. When I was 21, I had a camera, several lenses, etc. I was packing up my dorm room to leave college for the summer. I locked the door, securely. Dorm mate had left a week ago I had it to myself. I went to the bathroom. Came back. Door was still locked. But the camera bag was gone. I didn’t find my inner shutterbug again until cell phone camera technology started coming up in quality.

First of all, congrats on the upcoming baby! I will tell ya, kids do grow up fast. To put in perspective, when i first started watching your channel about 2016 ish, my oldest was still in jr high, my 2 youngest were barely in 1st grade and preschool. Fast forward to now, 2024, that oldest is now 20 and a working man, my daughter just celebrated her 14th b day, and my then preschooler is now starting jr high this fall. At me turning 44 this July, its gonna be alright. As far as the channel goes, its far better to explore places that you havent been yet and will bring you the most joy and worth the visit. Keep on keepin on. 😊

🎉 all the best aces adventures. This channel is actually what got me into watching America's dying malls. Been a foreigner from south africa but falling in love with the first mall I've seen abandoned, century 3 mall, and I mean the mall demolition is starting either today or tomorrow which is really sad. 😢 . I guess there's no shit content other than vandals recording themselves smashing stuff, but when it comes to other content creators, they're filling the gaps on what's missing right now and couldn't be happier. As much as your content is great, your inactivity depreciates how the RUclips algorithm places you and for people being consistent, they're getting those views. We understand life goes on but as much as we're waiting for ace to drop something, alot of different mall events are happening in between the 2 or 3 months it takes you to drop a video, and without mentioning names, some of these other content creators are delivering the same excellent quality videos on a weekly basis😢. Marriage and a child on the way definitely means no traveling brother and generally that's when the channel is dead. It's been dying already because it's taking months for videos to come out no matter how many people say " we will wait for your quality videos instead of the quantity other people are dishing out" . I had two children in the 89/92 time frame and it was life changing. I can't begin to express how much joy my children gave me. You aren't looking for advice but I'd like to give you some since you have a very time consuming hobby. Unfortunately for us tragedy struck a few years ago and I lost my son to cancer. Of all the things I regret in my life (and for some reason the human mind likes to play back those regrets on repeat) I regret not spending more time with him. So please continue with your hobby but don't sacrifice time with your family since that time is precious. About your videos -- the thing that usually gets me is your EXCELLENT choice in music. You seem to pick the most perfect pieces. I think we all enjoy your videos obviously but will be happy with having just a few excellent episodes rather than more episodes that force you to take time away from stuff that matters. Many youtube creators are recognizing that no one other than Alphabet/RUclips are making any money at this and it is now Art. You are good at it, so do what makes your heart sing.

If you decide to use the social blade addon you can look into the tags other similar creators such as Brightsunfilms, The Proper People etc. Also would like to mention that words in the title and description can really help with search terms and driving people towards your channel. There are pics floating around FB on Century III pages of its progress. Also they started internal work too to get it ready, clearing out JCPenneys and other interior work. It's finally happening.

Hey Ace, I mentioned it to Sal but if you want to restart the channel and you can make it there… The Queen Ka‘ahumanu Mall in Kahului, Maui, HI would be a great place to look into to restart the channel. Lots of folks have assumed that Maui was totally destroyed by the wildfires but Kahului is on the other side of the island. Plus, people seeing it in such a sad state may help their economy recover from the misconception of the wildfires. Sorry for what’s happened but hopefully you bounce back.

Oh that's so so I would be very mad too about that which I remember traveling Greyhound in 2019 to Columbus, Georgia to be there when my first grandson Aiden was bot and Greyhound missed tagged my one of my two bags for Columbus, Ohio instead of Georgia but after plastering it all over social media and everywhere I got my bag back within a week. And I too had some electronic stuff and some expensive knitting needles in my bag. 🎉 all the best aces adventures. This channel is actually what got me into watching America's dying malls. Been a foreigner from south africa but falling in love with the first mall I've seen abandoned, century 3 mall, and I mean the mall demolition is starting either today or tomorrow which is really sad. 😢 . I guess there's no shit content other than vandals recording themselves smashing stuff, but when it comes to other content creators, they're filling the gaps on what's missing right now and couldn't be happier. As much as your content is great, your inactivity depreciates how the RUclips algorithm places you and for people being consistent, they're getting those views. We understand life goes on but as much as we're waiting for ace to drop something, alot of different mall events are happening in between the 2 or 3 months it takes you to drop a video, and without mentioning names, some of these other content creators are delivering the same excellent quality videos on a weekly basis😢. Marriage and a child on the way definitely means no traveling brother and generally that's when the channel is dead. It's been dying already because it's taking months for videos to come out no matter how many people say " we will wait for your quality videos instead of the quantity other people are dishing out" . Congratulations ace and thanks for the century 3 videos and that easte Towne mall video you did in pitch black darkness 🎉
Anthony/Ace so glad to hear you bouncing back from the excrement that life hands you. So happy to hear you and your wife are expecting. I had two children in the 89/92 time frame and it was life changing. I can't begin to express how much joy my children gave me. You aren't looking for advice but I'd like to give you some since you have a very time consuming hobby. Unfortunately for us tragedy struck a few years ago and I lost my son to cancer. Of all the things I regret in my life (and for some reason the human mind likes to play back those regrets on repeat) I regret not spending more time with him. So please continue with your hobby but don't sacrifice time with your family since that time is precious.
About your videos -- the thing that usually gets me is your EXCELLENT choice in music. You seem to pick the most perfect pieces. I think we all enjoy your videos obviously but will be happy with having just a few excellent episodes rather than more episodes that force you to take time away from stuff that matters. Many youtube creators are recognizing that no one other than Alphabet/RUclips are making any money at this and it is now Art. You are good at it, so do what makes your heart sing.

Congrats on the news!! Yes!! Century III Mall is finally coming down. The county and Boro went to court with moonbeam and the judge forced moonbeam hand. The parking structure is coming down first. There are pics floating around FB on Century III pages of its progress. Also they started internal work too to get it ready, clearing out JCPenneys and other interior work. It's finally happening.

Hey Ace, I mentioned it to Sal but if you want to restart the channel and you can make it there… The Queen Ka‘ahumanu Mall in Kahului, Maui, HI would be a great place to look into to restart the channel.
Lots of folks have assumed that Maui was totally destroyed by the wildfires but Kahului is on the other side of the island. Plus, people seeing it in such a sad state may help their economy recover from the misconception of the wildfires.

Oh that's so so I would be very mad too about that which I remember traveling Greyhound in 2019 to Columbus, Georgia to be there when my first grandson Aiden was bot and Greyhound missed tagged my one of my two bags for Columbus, Ohio instead of Georgia but after plastering it all over social media and everywhere I got my bag back within a week. And I too had some electronic stuff and some expensive knitting needles in my bag.
