For a detailed explanation with numerous illustrations get a copy of Cleft Craft, Volume 1 by Dr Millard. In the procedure the 'backcut' is almost always necessary and never goes (or went) into the base of the columella. Nicely done explanation.
The flap denoted A is a rotation flap; often denoted R The flap denoted B is an advancement flap, often denoted A but fantastic video, really really good
This may totally be wrong but something is not qite right with flap C. I can't understand how it is a superior continuation of flap A and its tip facing laterally..
What is refrence for marking Ma'am? I mean from which article or book you have taken this marking? Because in an article of Ness Ja , facial plastic surgery 1993:9:169 markings are different.
Hi..there are various techniques and many many articles..the markings i have shown are compiled from teachings passed down to us combined with standard text books and the surgeries we have seen
