Made me cry, so fucking cool you guys put Bon Scott in there as well!
I did cry too.
It put a smile on my face
Still have tears in my eyes
They wouldn't be around today if not for bon scott.
Same but for me it was the last bit with them all together
Never thought an AC/DC song would make me tear up but here we are. RiP Mal and Bon.
Except for ride on
me too.
Same here.. But AC⚡DC "caught" me when my son started listening to their music.. 😊
As an old Punk Rocker from Glasgow in Scotland all I have to say is this:
Thanks for just being you, AC//DC, I loved you in 1976 and I'm still loving you now in 2024. Never change, lads.
right 👍👍👍👍👍 ich hätte es nicht besser sagen können!
AC/DC Forever! But there is the next gen too :)) and it rocks hard as well :))

This is by far the most emotional song of AC/DC, for fans and the band as one, this is just a masterpiece, every time that I hear this song, I hardly try not to break down in tears, especially when I see the clip🥹
YES!!!
Yeah man, me too, AC/DC has been my "escape valve" for almost 30 years, since I was a little kid, now I'm sad because I realized that we both got older, but they more quickly.
@@manuelesaupinedahernandez5364 I am only 18, and I am a proud fan for almost 2 years, after listening since I could remember to Queen, which isn't common at all in my country, specifically at my age
@@SHYKEshy Definitely less in my country, Mexico, 30 years ago back in the 1994 I was just an 7-year-old boy and all the music that played everywhere was regional Mexican, but in my city there was a local television channel from a very very small company that stole the national signal from 7 a.m. at 12 pm and at 11:30 they played music videos for Faith no More, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and one day they set "moneytalks" it was like a punch in the face.
But I bet you have a smile at the same time .😁😁😁
This song is an excellent tribute to the vocalist Bon Scott and the great guitarist Malcolm Young.

@@roblianoofficial I do wonder if Dave Evans their original singer and their temporary 2016 stand in for Brian that is Axl Rose deserve to be on the wall displays of AC DC history? Dave is technically their first despite only singing on 2 songs and Axl may be just a temporary stand in on the 2016 rock or bust tour dates Brian had to sit out to avoid hearing loss but they each have their place in AC DC history despite not being as big as Bon and Brian
I can really see Bon and Malcolm rockin it where ever they are. Never stop, I'm on my way.
Me too bro.
I dont think that many people fit in a pine box
When "the new singer" has been with the band 40 years ... what legends.
If a band ever made a video just for the life long, die hard fans... this is it. Simply beautiful... Thank you so much Malcolm, Angus, Bon, Brian, Cliff, Phil, Mark, Stevie, George, Harry, Chris and Simon. It's been a wonderful, magic ride through the mists of time.

They are still kicking ass. 🤘🏻
They are my favourite rock band and I'm 55 it killed me when Malcolm passed but may the band continue to bring beautiful music to us older ones ☺️☺️
I'm almost 20 and I've been listening AC/DC for just a few months but somehow knowing Malcom and Bon gone makes my heart sink. This band is a legend and they show that although you had good moments with people that are now gone, you can always have fun and remember them in a good way, you can cherish the moment you spent with them. I hope AC/DC will produce other albums, they know how to write and play new beautiful songs
The best rock band in the world
I can’t stop listening to this song. Besides being a great tribute to Malcolm, I also think it’s a thank you to fans who have been listening to this group for over 40 years.
I became a fan in the summer of '82, and I still love them to this day.
I have been a fan since the mid seventies, loved seeing them at the Hammersmith odeon with Angus on Bon’s shoulders going round the audience have continued listening to and seeing them ever since.
I myself have been listening to them for 35 of my almost 40 years and they have been around for almost 50 years

Love that AC/DC is still making rock music!
They have been for the last nearly 50 years. They have been a big part of my life since I can remember. I remember when black ice came out? Even before that. But anyway I was 10 years old when that album came out and 12 when the tour concluded. I wanted to go see them so bad during the black ice tour, they hit my area 2 or 3 times and I missed them each time. Due to the fact my mom was single and raising me alone. I had money to get tickets. My friends mom and dad offered me their spare ticket and to take me but my mom said no as she didn’t know them very well (I mean I can understand somewhat, but looking back I am quit pissed somewhat) but I didn’t miss Rock Or Bust but I had to go with Axl (as I thought that was gonna be their last tour if I’d have known it wasn’t I’d have waited, at least now I know what to expect out of Angus) he’s so amazing! I’m just so excited about it.
I also love that this song is a tribute to malcolm young and bon scott

Actually.. Malcolm called it Rock N' Roll, there's an interview where he explains the difference.
@@AutisticBeautyQueen very cool story
AC/DC gives a concert in a Museum, surrounded by universal masterpieces and evoking past times.
I don't know if this video was planned from the beginning (I doubt it), but many fans had already edited something similar. The song is very sentimental and there would be no room for a different theme considering the longevity of the band.
Either way, those of us who are real fans, and watch concerts or anything else the band brings to the table, enjoy it so much that whatever they do, it's a unique gift. AC/DC is the soundtrack to our lives, we can only be thankful, no one has ever endured so much on the hard rock road. GRACIAS!! THANK YOU!!

I love how Malcolms chorus was dubbed in. Paying tribute to all members past and present. This song and video is perfection. Should win Rock video of the year.
Malcolm is not dubbed in on any performance posthumously. Angus took over his role for backing vocals, as he also has a rough sound, to compliment Cliff’s smoother voice. Mike Fraser, their engineer since 1990, talked about it on the ‘Beyond the Thunder’ podcast he did.
@@YesManNomad it’s not Angus it’s stevie young on backing vocals with cliff
@@fergusblackhall6541 When playing live, Stevie does the backing vocal role (for the sake of optics).
When in the studio, Angus does it (because his voice sounds like Malcolm’s).
RUclips will block my comment if I share the link, but if you go to Spotify and search the “Beyond the Thunder” podcast, in S2E7, at 16:09 in the podcast, Mike Fraser (engineer on every record from The Razors Edge to Power Up): “On this one, Brendan wanted to get some more gangy vocals, and on all their past records, Mal always sang on it. And he’s got such a distinctive voice, so we got Angus in there singing on that because they’ve got very similar voices. And I tell ya, on some of those, I could swear it’s Malcolm singing. Ya know, it’s really, really cool how he did that.”

One thing I love about this one is how it showcases the rhythmic guitar. Stevie stands where malcolm once stood and this song shows off the crucial role rhythm guitar plays. Like tnt and shoot to thrill especially, this song gives Malcolm/Stevie a beautiful riff when Angus does his solo instrumental bit and I absolutely love it.
And this goes with Anything Goes as the feel good songs of acdc
I was 5 in 1979 when my 18-year-old brother brought home the Highway to Hell album. I never forgot the title track, and in 1980 I heard their Back in Black album as well, realizing that the singer was different but not knowing why. At 18 in 1993, I got into classic rock radio and heard a lot of the 70s AC/DC there. I bought albums and rock encyclopedias. I found out when Bon Scott had passed and how. He may have been with the band for only 6 years, but he was pivotal in getting the band noticed in their formative years. To this day I'm still a fan of this band, and Brian really stepped up to the plate and helped the band to continue their success. To the band, I just want to say a big THANK YOU for including Bon Scott in the photos and the mural! I especially love the photo at 1:46 that lights up in color. Bon may not have had many years with the band, but he was a tremendous talent of his own who deserves to be recognized, honored, and remembered forever in AC/DC history.
This song is exactly what we need in this trying time: A blast from the past, good memories, and a good song to remind ourselves that the great and close ones we've lost over the years, including Malcolm and Bon, they're never really gone. This song is officially my favorite, and i will be playing this at my funeral

there are some subtle things I noticed as well. Is Angus's blue hat (that he is wearing in the video) one from the '70's, perhaps an original from when they first toured? I haven't seen him wear that lighter blue hat ...but I do know he has worn different colors throughout the years.
hold on let me check
I didn't see that before I noticed your comment
This song and especially the video had me crying. There has been so much loss and turmoil in this band yet they keep on rockin'. They honor those who have fallen and have been lost to the mists of time. One day when all the members of AC/DC are gone I hope they play this song at the funeral. God bless you AC/DC.
😢⚡️😢
👍👍👍👍😜😜💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutly agree with you !!!… 😜😜😜…. Photos are fabulous !!!…. And big respect to Brian accept to send hommage like this to Bon and lot off this band !!!…. ❤️❤️❤️…. the are at thé Panthéon of rock !!!…. For ever !!!…. 😜😜😜👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I agree!
I agree!
AC/DC the very foundation of GOOD HARD ROCK. The best the world has ever known...
AC/DC FOREVER ! ! !
A lot of rock bands sound alike. But no band in history has sounded like ACDC. They are one of a kind and are still at the top of their game. LONG LIVE ACDC.
The band Accept is often confused with AC/DC.
I had started thinking after Malcolm’s departure that i would never get to listen to AC DC’s any new stuff now, but damn this has flooded my eyes with tears
Way to go Ac DC 🤘🤘🤘
Saw all the great rock bands of this generation ,live
seen acdc plenty of times - live
No one to touch them
Angus in his prime , was the daddy
0:20 Shadow of Malcolm up side down
I love that these guys no matter how old they get they have kept their sound the same throughout the generations and still rock like always befoe..Love my AC/DC
Are they in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame? They should be.
@@JaredMerlin yes they are
But they haven't kept their sound the same. It's not raw like it was in Bon's day. It's compressed like ZZ Top and Brian can't come up with any decent lyrics since he used Bon's on BIB.
It's all they know how to play
Um...huh? Hehe
AC/DC - my alltime favourites
His voice is unforgettable...love it since 79
Grande Angus!! Homenaje muy sobresaliente a Malcolm . También de sobresaliente la banda ( stive, Brian, Cliff, Phild y Angus) los más grandes. We salute You. ❤❤
I'm 15 years old, hearing this kind of music in 2021, just like some other teenager did 40 years ago.
In the past, in the present, in the future, always AC/DC!
Amen young man!
They could have done much much better. Cool animation tho
A new generation is rising!
@@guyincognito5663 this song sucks ass. Kids don't listen to the oldies . Unfortunately this generation only knows the most well known acdc songs and they call themselves "fans". Nobody listens to dio bon scott, meatloaf or the doors. People will say o I know that song but they don't know the band. For that reason it's going to be a while for rock to comeback if it does
I'm 12 and I also enjoy this type of music
The greatest rock band of all time.
one off
Jimi Hendrix disagrees, he said the greatest band is King Crimson!
I say they are for me, in the top Five of pure rock n roll. They are their brand of rock and no one has matched their sound. Just like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Hendrix…when you hear AC/DC you don’t mistake them for anyone else.
@@rajo741 : Beatles = pop, AC/DC = Hard Rock, Hendrix = psychedelia; Led-Zep = eclectic, there is a lot of Celtic folk BTW...
Actually, just listen to this new song as well as Riff-Raff, you'll think you listen to two different bands, now listen to Airbourne or even old LPs from Krokus, it sounds more like the Powerage era than actual AC/DC !!!
The Vanda/Young production sounded very different of the Mutt Lange production which was very different to the actual one...
George Martin totally changed the Beatles early sound when they turned to psychedelia, then their sound was totally changed by Phil Spector...
There will never be another band like this. Almost 50 years.. they have surpassed anything and everything..amazing video!
Honored to be a fan since the release of their High Voltage album (roughly 47 years)!
Mix engineer: 'How much hi-hat do you want in the mix?'
Phil: 'Yes'
Gotta get that groove in there!
Comments like this never get old. Love it
Phil:'All there is'
Well they aint called low hats 🤡
I cant unhear the over use of the high hat now...... great tune tho
I feel like this song is their outgoing anthem in the same way It’s A Long Way To The Top was their incoming anthem.
Same, as much as I would always welcome new music, this is the perfect album to go out on
well, they were wrong then, there was no "long way" for them since they were #S tier since the begin, also even their 1st song is not old (as well it'll never be) so no outgoing for them either
Brad Norris,
Well said! I am also 54 yrs old, and been hooked on these guys since 1979.
Thank you for serving the "Greatest Country on Earth"!
I also served in the United States Army for 26 yrs. multiple deployments (7). Korea, Germany, and all over the world, CONUS, and OCONUS! I know exactly how you feel! I think they share our same Army Values as we do. Duty, Loyalty, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage to last throughout all these years and beyond!
As the song is properly titled, "Through The Mist Of Time!"
Just when you thought they were about done, they produce a remarkable song like this! AMAZING song!
Brian in theirs 70's singing without autotune, yes actual "artists" this is an artist
Autotune and pitch correction in general is industry standard, it's just much more subtle in cases like this.
Everyone uses autotune.
@@whatswiththisnewhandlesthing and why do you figure that..i think that with a sound like his voice..so distorted so to say, it is very difficult to seperate the tone from the 'noise' in his voice..kind of like trying to identify blue sky in a sky that is full of thunder clouds..
Hard to say if there is autotune on it or not. Proper use of autotune is transparent. In the studio everyone uses it on all instruments as needed. I've used it on toms, guitar, vocals. But you'd never tell.
@@Dave_Albright When autotune is used properly you shouldn't be able to tell.
