Thank you very much and I'm happy you enjoyed this bit of a departure from my usual sort of offerings. It's not often I see how dark I can make the wavestate sound, but this was exactly what I needed to get out of it at the time of putting all of this together. Thanks so much again for checking this out 😊
This is some really awesome dark sound-scaping Dani! I really wish there were more demos on the Wavestate like this (I have a MK1 myself). Is anything added in post, or is this all Wavestate? Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much and I'm glad you enjoyed this slightly darker soundscape. Nothing is added in post, this is just 100% all-natural wavestate. The only thing that might hinder a mk1 wavestate from achieving something similar would be the polyphony count, but I didn't really take note of how many voices were sounding at maximum when I was building the patch. Happy experimenting with your wavestate! 😃
Sometimes it pays to turn inward rather than looking outward into the vastness of the universe for inspiration, and it makes me very glad to know the wavestate excels at both. Thank you so much for stopping by to check this out and I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed it! 😊
@@dani_raudvik I believe this will be the music of the future. Even "new age" which used lots of pads was meant to calm and not ask any questions. One more anesthetic for the soul.. Your work allows for "side doors", challenges and interesting places to explore.
First off, thank you very much for the glowing assessment of my work in the comment above. As for a preference between the modwave and the wavestate, I can't say I really do because I recognize that each synthesizer excels at what it does, and those two things are very different. It just depends on what kind of a sound I'm after that will send me toward the wavestate or the modwave. Most of the time, the sorts of sounds knocking around in my head require the wavestate, but the modwave is excellent for when I need something grittier and more metallic. I've tried landing on a sound like that with the wavestate, and I just don't feel like it gets there as well.
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment. 🙂 This was my first attempt at really making a wall of sound that had no ebbs to it and I’m glad it worked out and was pleasing to your ears. This particular piece is meant to be telling a bit of a story… just wish it was one I didn‘t have to tell
No one does drones as good as this ! Amazing evolving pad and a dark vocal effect. I wish you would release some of your patches for WS and Modwave! Lovely work Dani.
Thank you so much for this glowing comment! 😃 Soundpacks will come eventually. My schedule for all this obviously got very screwed up considering what‘s been going on the past month. Important meeting coming up tomorrow that ought to fully inform the way forward for me and I‘ll start to see some stability in my own life so I can return to the album process. Soundpacks will follow albums 🙂
@@sytzeriemersma thank you so much for this lovely comment! I love the wavestate community and can‘t wait to be back with more regularity. It‘s a slow road but I‘ll get there 🙂
Lovely dark drone and soundscapes!

Das klingt super 👍👍👍 😎 🙋🏻
Vielen Dank!
Und nun gönn ich mir noch eine kleine Pause sowohl zum Ausruhen als auch zum Üben fürs nächste Album 😃

By the way. Do you have a preference when it comes to the wavestate vs Modwave?

A really good take on keeping tension for 25 minutes and at some moments I imagined that the music is telling some story.
