I honestly don’t know why you guys are so against cod. They fight hard for their size and they live in closer areas than jacks. For me I actually prefer cod more than jack.

I was fishing for threadfin the other day and the fish cut my leader and took my popper. How heavy of a leader should I use?
That sucks man! was it defs a threadfin that cut you off?I normally run 40lb to 60lb
I'm 100% sure it was. After cutting me off I saw it jump trying to get the popper off. Thanks Kyle I'll be better prepared with 40 or 50lb next time.
