The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.
You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names. - Развлечения
I like Taras, I didn't when first on the scene, however, his style and gameplay has grown on me and he is actually quite skillful. I underestimated him...besides, he proved he could fold back a set against Doug!
You did not underestimate him, his poker skill has greatly improved.
He did start off as a fish you aren’t wrong but he has been studying and it shows
It's because of the hair. Nobody watching would give him the slightest bit of credit for being a good player or a cool dude when he had that long hair.
Every hand he puts him on he still can't beat
When does Taras ever not get there?
Thanks. 👊🏼✌🏻
Jumping for joy at losing a hand 🤣🏴
Listen, Vanessa is usually pissy like a child. This was a nice change
Jumping for joy for saving 90k. Id be jumping too
Jumping at not losing 90k more...
I didn't used to understand why people watched casino games but now I'm hooked 😂. I going to gamble on Hugewin all weekend
That was fun to watch
How can you call when there is 2 over cards on the table plus can have Jack's or queens minimum or the two big ones kk aa
unless he was slow playing he would 4 bet kk or aa’s pre flop that’s why doug said maybe he has JJ
@@kingwild772 I think was a silly comment from doug(why would you check a set) called trappin doug come on...that novice, here not bad mouthing,I wish I was in dougs shoes but just some of the stuff I see at the lodge goes boggle the mind??
I'm not even close to this level of play, but Doug was crazy to leave that big a call on a huge river bet to a flip with everything he was losing to on that board - just my .02 but love watching these guys play
I enjoy listening to Doug think aloud
He suffer from the exact same poker illness as me, you can often pin point exactly what your opponent has through experience, except in this weird scenario where nothing makes sense, the hand doesn't look like anything that you played with that person and you don't see any hand that can fit the sizing.
usually it's pocket pair that got there.
The check on the turn is even somehow classic :
Dude is hoping that the guy he's facing will somehow get a decent hand because he knows that he can dominate any two pairs and don't want him to fold, + bonus bad poker players will always see that as "weakness" which help the river calling for a large bet which will be seen as a bluff
In the hand you get the same amount out of the hand thanks to the overbet river and you also acted perfectly to get him to call.
Only drawback of the method is obviously when the other guy get there on the river since you didn't made him pay for it, but your hand is strong af and you better risk the river rather than making him fold for min value
When he said he was worried about 72, Taras should have acted like he needed to see which card was a deuce and flipped it over.
That could only have worked if he had the 2c in his hand. Showing a red 2 makes it an easy fold.
Why would Tara’s check turn 😂
I’m not 100%but I think he assumed Doug had air and was hoping he would bluff into him. Pretty dry board on the turn
Yeah but Doug has at least a pair when he continues, he won’t just call w ace high. He just wanted to get tricky
@@mr.doriangrey3394much more likely
The fact that Doug couldn't make a decision and was so bad not even putting Taras on a set. He had to go for the old coin flip. Because that way he won't look like a Donk. I'm glad Taras didn't play into his childish game
Your my hero Doug 🎉🎉🎉
Poker is one of my favorite games to play at Hugewin Casino.
What’s with the 50/50 call/fold bs. I wanna see a decision.
Man everybody should love Taras is so humble
Fun hand.
Not raising the turn with a set is criminal
Betting*
Criminally brilliant. Loved it.
Yea that hurt me, but it was the best play when looking at the hands tho 😂
In that spot when I’m that deep on a wet board I’m piling money on the turn praying he has an over pair
Not knowing the difference between betting and raising is criminal.
you mean not betting on the turn, no bet happened previously before Taras so he couldn't have raised
"You don’t got that shit" and then he has it lol. You ain’t no Daniel Negreneau
He's much, much, much better than Daniel.
Literally won HU challenge vs Negreanu. Just because Negreanu is likeable and more recognizable as a poker player doesnt mean hes better
@@user-bw3vg5tf2n he's better at headsup but that's only 1 part of poker
Doug thinking is always fun.
HEY DOUG U ARE HOLDING EVERYBODY UP..
He should 've gone all-in, he blocks the nuts
Doug being forced to a coin flip is showing that Taras is good at reading his opponent (at least Doug) and playing appropriately.
How fun is Doug ❤
Taras is my Daddy!
I used to hate on Doug, but he has grown on me over the years.
Wow- that was awesome Doug! I am always rooting for Doug and against Taras-yay he got away from it!
He remembered the 8s locations and asked to see villains cards. What a great way to save 90k.
He literally asked Taras to choose a card.
I love Doug 😂😂😂
He knows how to have a good time at the poker table. Even when he’s losing.
Having 2 black 8”s sucks for Doug, rules out him having a8cc a8ss as possible bluffs with nut blocker
Randomization never fails.
Ha!
Only till when it does!😁
@@fialee8if you pick the right % it doesn’t fail
@@jtg2525 Umm... it's an even flip. There isn't any %... 50/50 (unless he folds).
Always do the goose
Should be a n easy fold
when you have a lot of money to burn.
That's my boy. Who else can get that much fun out of saving a mere $90k? Play on, playa! 😆😂👍
That flip was INSANE. Why not just fold? You literally lose to everything. Better yet, what would Taras have done if he snap shoved all in instead? Is Taras capable of folding bottom set there after a 200k+ more raise?
Taras is unreadable
Tesla RIP? 😂
😂 really where is he ? finished the money 😅
😂😂
on last show went broke so not sure if Tesla going back
always a good sign when your opponents are confused
thank you Cpt Obvious
Doug, if you think he has a 10, you still lose.
What's your point?
Every time they talk they show how much they don’t know
I wouldn't have showed my hand if I was Taras, as Doug could easily have changed his mind and just folded.
He would never change his mind. His reputation is worth way more than 90k.
That was the dumbest thing Doug could have done. A pair of 8's! SMH!!!
Think long, think wrong.
Doug is my dad
If tara bet like 17k on the turn river he got pay!
He gets the 17k on the turn (probably) but I think it guarantees a fold on the river. So yeah in theory you are right but I love the check. Doug calls 50% of the time. I would rather flip for 90k than take 17k.
Doug talks too much, but you got to love him
This is total bs. He has only one pair, that's nothing and it's 3rd pair. It's a fold but he treats it like it's a very good hand. Crazy. Not going to win at Hustler's million Dollar game..
I gotta give it to Doug, I used to actually watch his streamed cash games and I couldn't stand him and would always root against him. But as I got a little older and see him on live streams now .. my disdain has grown exponentially because hes even richer now. CANT STAND HIM. hope he goes broke during the million dollar cash game.
Title is close. Should be "Doug Polk has no clue at all"!
He thinks he's a much better player than he actually is!
I feel embarrassed FOR him! Sitting there talking away and looking like he's a rec player.
Doug is the happiest loser. 🥳
Ok Doug is now like-able. Good for telly..
What happened to Doug Polk guys, he is playing sooo loosy loosy, probably cos he has become a business man and not a poker player anymore... this is what happened when your main stream of income is business and not poker...
