    Excellent band Noel should acknowledge them more on his interviews regarding there influence on oasis

    • @dermot51

      Got their CD off a geezer from Liverpool and Noel seems to have "borrowed" a lot of their tunes

    • @JayTheLane
      @JayTheLane 6 лет назад +13

      Liam has acknowledged them many times. Noel binned them off in about 1996. You can hear Chris and Tony's inspiration stamped all over Oasis. We all know they lifted tons of hooks, guitar tones and vocal style from the Realies.
      For all Liam's bluster at least he's grateful and honest. Noel only exists in Noel's world. The Real People are great but we're never gonna be Oasis. Liam gave Oasis an edge. Undoubtedly Noel although a stealing beast is a great song writer that made Oasis great.

      I Went to watch the Real People back in 90s loads of time, followed them around, they were that good, with Chris and Tony Griffiths up front and Tony Elson on drums and Sean Simpson on guitar.
      We meet the lads loads of times after the gigs, top lads and every gracious. “TOP BAND”

      @@cleftturnip7774Difficult since the Beatles neither wrote their music nor performed on their albums except to sing.
      Mike Williams in the USA, “Sage of Quay” has amassed the evidence. The Tavistock ran all the mega bands back then and still do today. They’re social engineers, and you regard the eras of rock and pop differently, once you’ve got passed disbelief.
      I sincerely doubt Noel wrote much of the Oasis canon attributed to him. His solo music is almost certainly his, however.

    The music industry is very rare and complicated.
    How do we explain that such a fantastic band is so underrated.
    They have the audience number of an amateur band. But the talent of the greatest geniuses not to mention they inspired some of the most successful bands yet they remain barely known. Why why why?👹
