I love how you started the video with a prayer. I will be watching your videos a lot in the next 3 semesters. You are my favorite already. I wanna thank you in advance for doing all these videos and help us understand. God bless you always!♥️♥️♥️
The potassium question with the banana and the spinach salad is tricky. Spinach is also high in potassium, but you’d have to eat about 2.5 cups of fresh spinach to equal a banana. That’s a mighty big salad! I’d rather see the tricky questions from you before I get to the NCLEX.
I also thought the question after that one...about foods w/ the greatest impact on the neurochemical activity... I chose pickle since it is high in sodium and that has neuro effects
Same. Babies are given potassium shots bc they don't have clotting factors. I thought Bananas have more potassium per serving. Weird question. And I also picked sodium for neuro
Omg this is what my exam will be on. Currently at a 73 in fundamental and I need a 75 to pass. Help please. I’ll go to your website because I’m struggling in nursing school. I’ve never felt so dumb in my life.
Your videos are adding to my nursing school studies. Thank you for the prayers and the varied looks…the prayers are sweet and the stares keep me giggling as I study!!
Thank you for your prayers!!! Please keep teaching us nursing students we need you! Thank you God! For everything and thank you, beautiful lady for doing this for us!

Hi Professor D! I have a question! First, thank you so much for your videos and for taking the time to help us nursing students succeed in our journey we appreciate you so much. My question is related to "which food has the greatest impact on cardiac conductivity" question, I know bananas are high in potassium but why would the answer not be spinach? Do bananas have a higher concentration of potassium than spinach? Thank you so much again for all that you do for us!!
I had the same issue but it seems like Professor accidentally shared a different question on the screen with the same answers. I reminded and just listened to the question ignoring the one on the screen. If you listen to what she says it all makes sense just doesn’t align with what’s on the screen. Good luck!
@@NexusNursing I just found out today I failed my nclex at 75 at my first attempt God 😥. like huh ??? Why?how? . I’m beyond disappointed. I’m sad I don’t feel like eating or doing anything just trying to process this bad news .
I graduated last year November and honestly I don’t want to write this “ NEW Generation Questions “ like how am I going to start studying again 🤦🏽♀️???
The answer is 3 Nausea and vomiting. Dry sticky tongue happens with when the Na+ is too high not too low, decreased bowl sounds happen with Hypokalemia and increased anxiety can happen with hyperkalemia. With decreased Na+ they can also have personality changes, dizziness and tachycardia.

Hey Professor D! Love the videos :) at 25:26, the question you mention verbally doesn't match what is put on the screen. I hope this helps for further understanding. Keep up the great work :)
26:34 i think the question is asking about hyponatremia not hypernatremia. Shouldnt nausea and vomiting be the answer? Please correct me if im wrong and clarify.

@nexus Thank you Professor for the amazing videos. I get really confused when it comes to the signs and symptoms of electrolytes imbalances. Is their a good way to understand them instead of trying to memorize them? Thank you
I would like to say thank you for all your heard working videos. They are helping me through nursing school. This is my last exam for the semester as of tomorrow and need an 80 or above on this exam to pass. On the last question of this video it stated it is hypobatremia wouldnt the answer be 3 nausea/vomiting as their sign and symptoms? please clarify
You had me laughing professor D as always, I really enjoyed your tutorial, would love some more questions like these, also for pathophysiology, the long answer paper I need some help plz as to what to expect and how to answer these long answer questions for final exams.
marvellous work. but regarding the transfusion reaction quiz, i tend to differ. so you collect the urine sample take to the lab, so patient is left waiting for the result so you infuse normal saline or give epinephrine?????
Hey! I love your videos for studying ! Lately I've seen contradicting statements about the second thing to do after a hemolytic reaction. I was always taught and studied to run NS after stopping the IV, can you further explain why this is not correct?

The question with the burn and hyponatremia you mentioned it says hypernatremia but the question is asking for hyponatremia.

Hi Professor, could you go over the question at 25:24, you referred to hypernatremia when the question asked aout hyponatremia.
I came to the comments to confirm the same thing
