Just a note...not a criticism...im much older than you, lol! People almost never call & ask for help. A freiend who lost her sister to cancer about 35 years ago...she was 32 and had 2 sons ages 7 & 10 and a hubby...told me they appreciated the people who for instance just came in and said we're here to clean. Is it ok if we start in the bathrooms? Or moms who called and said im taking my kids to an activity saturday at 1:00. May i pick up the boys to go with us? We will be back by 5. Or people who called and said im dropping off this meal tommorow at 4:30 for dinner if that works. That way they didnt have to make any decisions except yes or no!!! Because life was so upside down. Decisions were HARD! When people made them for them it simplified things so much. She taught me alot with her experience. Just a thought!
Awww 32 that’s so young and sad 😭😭 I think this is referring to my neighbor who lost his wife? Yes!, my daughter and I talked about making him a couple meals. I told Bob he should see about going to breakfast with him once a week to the diner. He is alone now, and he always took care of everything, including his wife. But I think the loneliness is going to be the struggle. 🥺🥺 so we’re going to make an effort to have more conversations with him etc. 🙏🏼❤️
