VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA - The adidas Indoor Nationals meet ended in spectacular style with the boys 4x400m relay putting on a show.
Specifically the boys from IMG Academy. After all four runners had competed in several events over the course of the weekend, but the team was still preparing to chase after the 4x4 national record.
The team of Carl Hicks, Ashton Schwartzman, Jaylen Slade, and Adam Landen would ultimately come up just short of a national record but still posted a remarkable 3:13.33 which ranks US No. 3 all-time.

@@sikwitit937tv my thoughts exactly.. Norman was a pro in HS. This kid made it look very easy too, and indoors at that.

First of all, where was the wild finish?!? It was a route.
Second, these are two of the most annoying announcers I've heard in track, and she is especially bad. When you are taking away from the race with the viewer concentrating on how bad you are, it ruins the race.

Who ever recording this relay has never ran track and doesn't know what is exciting for the spectators. These camera angles missed so much. It was like watching a dunk but zooming in on the athletes face instead of watching the actual dunk. Smh
