You missed one. SvR 2010 as Edge you are told to press a button to select your number from tombola by Maria. The longer you leave her waiting the Lower your number. E.g. I clicked straight away and got 30, I left it ten seconds exactly and got 17, I left it 5 minutes exactly and got 1. This may be missed because most would just press straight away

In svr 2006 I simulated it to see how it went and won. Then I did it again and again with the same result. It’s a great cheat.

Also I saw that "Bad GM" cutscene way too many times in my younger years....
When I won, I trouced RAW every year, they had borderline zero fans by WrestleMania and their main event was always something stupid like Chavo Guerrero vs a CAW for the WWE Championship meanwhile I was having Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart vs Edge.

I played 07's Season Mode with Chris Benoit and when I got to the Rumble, it was Randy Orton who was upset with his number.
I played as Kennedy and the rival was JBL.
When I played as JBL, Orton was the rival.
I think the rival could be anyone as long as they're heel and not your choosen superstar

8:09 I see "Deadman" Undertaker but I hear "American Badass" Undertaker. Back then that bothered me more than it should have.
Playing season mode as Undertaker is basically Biker Taker's personality with modern Deadman's entrance, attire and moveset
In SYM, if you lose every match in the main roster, The Undertaker will eventually drag you while riding his motorcycle.
Fun fact for SVR 2007 Season Mode: If you pick JBL as your player, some wrestlers will change with others if you pick a wrestler from a storyline. If you get JBL or any wrestler that you have to beat to get your number higher to the Royal Rumble storyline, JBL will get replaced by Randy Orton and your Royal Rumble opponents for the numbers will also change. If you win the Royal Rumble and get to the Bounty Hunter: The Hunted, wrestlers will also be replaced, with JBL replaced by Randy Orton, Booker T replaced by Chris Benoit and Hardcore Holly with William Regal get replaced, ONLY if you picked a wrestler from this storyline.
Svr 2006 did the same. If you pick batista triple h is the champ during the last chapter if you play with something like John cena the champ is batista

Here's a twist. In SVR 2007, if you play the season mode as JBL, Randy Orton takes JBL's place as the man with the contract. Also, if you play as Matt Hardy in season mode, Johnny Nitro take Matt's place as the guy with "29".
And what happens if you play as Rey Mysterio who is the replacement of the entrant #13

For the Here Comes the Pain Rumble thing, if I remember right from my recent playthrough, it doesn't even matter if you WIN, because Vince will go "Hey, I didn't say YOU'D get to pick your number. That number you just picked goes to the guy who you just beat." You'd STILL have to rely on the Wheel of Numbers, and I got Stephanie saying "Oh, we don't have a spot for you, you have to compete for one at the Rumble."
I actually remember ONE time where I picked entrant number 29, Vince did not come out and that was my number for the Rumble. I'm pretty sure Brock was 30 XD
To be fair with the triple threat with Rey and Matt, it's not amazing if you win. It turns out Matt just drew a 2 in front of his number, he was actually number 9. You do get Rey's number 13, just not 29.

Actually, for the HCTP one, I remember actually winning my match and choosing my entry number only for Vince McMahon to come out and allow my opponent I defeated to take the choice of the entry number instead. So winning or losing your Royal Rumble entry match doesn't mean anything and your fate is still determined by the roulette wheel (thankfully, I got #22 which isn't too bad, but still)
I won that match to so pretty much there is no point. Luckily I got 27.
I thought Vince did that because I refused to work with him, could be random

As Roddy Piper I won to Fatal four-way match I picked number 29 but Vince McMahon said that the superstar with the disadvantage gets to pick the number and the number that the superstar with the disadvantage was 29 so the next night on SmackDown I got the number 26 entry. And I made a pretty good choice!
I played WWF Warzone with the rock did a cage match and did the same moves over and over again while the crowd booed and I didn’t give a damn.
In 2K17 I purposely played like shit so I would go to NXT, like it better than main roster in the games
You left out WWF War Zone, where a woman in a limousine belittles and insults you when you lose your matches in the story mode.
I find this more punishing than being a badass wrestler in general because of how much pressure they put on you but its understandable to why both raw and smackdown want their wrestlers to win
It’s dialog like that which made Undertaker not want to do voiceover by the time I started writing the storylines...

I wonder if it was awkward for other wrestlers in the generic storylines. From my experiences, Jericho, Hogan, Steve Austin improvised some of their lines during the Eugene Chapter.
Ruruka Yoshitsune no Raikoū Most wrestlers back then were NOT into recording voiceover. A lot of those dudes weren’t gamers & didn’t want to be bothered. That’s why we ended up hiring a dude - a wrestler himself - just to stay on the road & build a good rep with everyone.

Have we ever gotten an explanation as to why all immersive game modes have been taken out of wwe games? The amount of time I could devote to SVR 2007 gm and season modes is unbelievable compared to these 2k games
Because they are releasing game every year with little changes and blame people who keep buying it. I stopped supporting companies that release game every year like call of duty 2k wwe,fifa etc.

It's crazy how much they fucked up 2k20 compared to svr 2006 still have svr05-11 smackdown here comes the pain smackdown shut your mouth and just bring it and all of the day of reckonings all of them are better than 2k20 fuckin terrible all the technology we have now compared to then and all the latest WWE games don't even match up 2k ruined the series
you know the only bad players in these games you can only find online and no don't try to say that people who use 2 moves in a wrestling game are a pro XD
In SmackDown vs Raw 2006, I chose the triple threat and won. Not only that, I won the Rumble and a world title in the main event at WrestleMania.

One of those rare things that happened in HCTP Royal Rumble storyline. I forget who I was controlling... I went to the wheel and got number 15 on it. Some time later Rikishi approaches backstage after the show. He brags that he has number 30. We get the choice of "want to trade numbers" or something else. After that you will offer some x ammount of $ for it or "forgetaboutit". Rikishi takes the money and I had number 30 for myself.
Only happened 1 TIME to me in all these years.
I know the cutscene. It’s if you have over $100,000 Smackdown! Dollars you can buy the no. 30 entry. You do lose $100,000 if you choose to take it tho

You should have included WWE 2k18 where in Alberto puts you against a max level superstar you have no chance of beating,so you get demolished as punishment.
I know this is a old video but just for add in "Going to NXT" in the first one, you only go to NXT if you lose to Samoa Joe. If you beat him, you're debuting on Smackdown. The promo battle with Enzo determines if you'll be a singles competitor or tag team competitor

Sometimes, when I get bored of getting #30 (either by winning the Triple Threat or by doing so well in the Ironman match that I'm at least 15 pinfalls/submissions ahead of my opponent), I go with the Ironman match and make sure to get disqualified so many times my entry number is 1. Other times, I go with the Triple Threat and make sure that Paul London defeats Kurt Angle (on SmackDown!) or Muhammad Hassan defeats HBK (on RAW).
It was obvious vince would give Shane the gm of the year
Boy that 3 minute match against The Rock really pissed me especially when I'm using my own Created Wrestler whose at a low lvl , and that he likes to reverse everything and alot as well.
Pretty much in 2k17 if you had the NXT enhancement pack, you pretty much always wanted to throw the intro match with Joe. I mean double the VC in NXT? You couldn’t resist. It made me never want to start on the main roster, plus it adds a bit of realism and I like the whole work your way up system
From my recollection, in most of these older games, you could simulate the matches and lose that way. I used to do this just to see how the stories played out whenever I was bored. Lol
The thing i dislike about most of these WWE games is the you have to win to get past something in the game and your like stuck until you do. Like the game from couple years ago either you win the money in bank match or you have to keep repeating until you do. It should work if you lose your pushed back and have to win later matches to get more opportunities. I remember some of the older wwe games was more like that you win or lose not just keep repeating a event until you do win
I haven't played wwe games since the n64 and was a huge fan of wrestling during the attitude era, if I had to pick a game to start playing again on PC , whether that be emulated or bought which game would you recommend? I was thinking hctp or svr 2007.. what do you think?

Don't forget sd vs raw 2005 when you face the loyal brand superstar and the betrayal superstar in a triple threat match the winner gets 30 the loser drops a couple of spots and the third stays where he is

I get really annoyed when I'm doing the tryout in WWE 2K17 and they send me straight to the Main Roster. I restart everything and do it again until I get sent to NXT.
The optimal play is to be an average player so you aren’t punished at all

I can't believe that the voiceover work and the logic in the cutscenes on the oldest WWE games, are still better and more convincing than any of the "acting" I've seen on any of the events.. I knew it was fake since i was a kid, but gooood how fucking cringeworthy it is to watch ANYTHING they spew out.. Actually the main reason why I'm adamant that anyone who gets excited and pumped about this has to be on the same mental level as a below average 10year old...
The biggest bullshit is losing on porpose in my career mode. I defended my WWE Championship with Tray in 2k20 against Braun Strowman. I defeated Braun Strowman and game said to me that I failed! In that match I have to take dive which is the greatest bullshit! I quit 2k20 my career mode after i saw that
The voice acting in these games is so bad. They apply a weird echo effect, I haven't played the game in years, but you'd think by now they'd have figured it out. So many games have good voice acting, why is WWE stuck in 2005?

I always got punished by losing matches, so I don't see the point of the video.
1. It's not all about losing matches, you should watch first as it's 11 minutes long and you commented about 2 minutes after it went up.
2. It's fun to look back at the moments and some might have been forgotten about.
3. Losing matches doesn't always equal punishments, you can lose matches and get rewarded! (New video there?)
