You missed one. SvR 2010 as Edge you are told to press a button to select your number from tombola by Maria. The longer you leave her waiting the Lower your number. E.g. I clicked straight away and got 30, I left it ten seconds exactly and got 17, I left it 5 minutes exactly and got 1. This may be missed because most would just press straight away
Fun fact for SVR 2007 Season Mode: If you pick JBL as your player, some wrestlers will change with others if you pick a wrestler from a storyline. If you get JBL or any wrestler that you have to beat to get your number higher to the Royal Rumble storyline, JBL will get replaced by Randy Orton and your Royal Rumble opponents for the numbers will also change. If you win the Royal Rumble and get to the Bounty Hunter: The Hunted, wrestlers will also be replaced, with JBL replaced by Randy Orton, Booker T replaced by Chris Benoit and Hardcore Holly with William Regal get replaced, ONLY if you picked a wrestler from this storyline.
Svr 2006 did the same. If you pick batista triple h is the champ during the last chapter if you play with something like John cena the champ is batista

For the Here Comes the Pain Rumble thing, if I remember right from my recent playthrough, it doesn't even matter if you WIN, because Vince will go "Hey, I didn't say YOU'D get to pick your number. That number you just picked goes to the guy who you just beat." You'd STILL have to rely on the Wheel of Numbers, and I got Stephanie saying "Oh, we don't have a spot for you, you have to compete for one at the Rumble."
I actually remember ONE time where I picked entrant number 29, Vince did not come out and that was my number for the Rumble. I'm pretty sure Brock was 30 XD
Here's a twist. In SVR 2007, if you play the season mode as JBL, Randy Orton takes JBL's place as the man with the contract. Also, if you play as Matt Hardy in season mode, Johnny Nitro take Matt's place as the guy with "29".
Actually, for the HCTP one, I remember actually winning my match and choosing my entry number only for Vince McMahon to come out and allow my opponent I defeated to take the choice of the entry number instead. So winning or losing your Royal Rumble entry match doesn't mean anything and your fate is still determined by the roulette wheel (thankfully, I got #22 which isn't too bad, but still)
To be fair with the triple threat with Rey and Matt, it's not amazing if you win. It turns out Matt just drew a 2 in front of his number, he was actually number 9. You do get Rey's number 13, just not 29.
From my recollection, in most of these older games, you could simulate the matches and lose that way. I used to do this just to see how the stories played out whenever I was bored. Lol
As Roddy Piper I won to Fatal four-way match I picked number 29 but Vince McMahon said that the superstar with the disadvantage gets to pick the number and the number that the superstar with the disadvantage was 29 so the next night on SmackDown I got the number 26 entry. And I made a pretty good choice!

Some time later Rikishi approaches backstage after the show. He brags that he has number 30. We get the choice of "want to trade numbers" or something else. After that you will offer some x ammount of $ for it or "forgetaboutit". Rikishi takes the money and I had number 30 for myself. Only happened 1 TIME to me in all these years.

I find this more punishing than being a badass wrestler in general because of how much pressure they put on you but its understandable to why both raw and smackdown want their wrestlers to win

Have we ever gotten an explanation as to why all immersive game modes have been taken out of wwe games? The amount of time I could devote to SVR 2007 gm and season modes is unbelievable compared to these 2k games
Because they are releasing game every year with little changes and blame people who keep buying it. I stopped supporting companies that release game every year like call of duty 2k wwe,fifa etc.
The thing i dislike about most of these WWE games is the you have to win to get past something in the game and your like stuck until you do. Like the game from couple years ago either you win the money in bank match or you have to keep repeating until you do. It should work if you lose your pushed back and have to win later matches to get more opportunities. I remember some of the older wwe games was more like that you win or lose not just keep repeating a event until you do win
Boy that 3 minute match against The Rock really pissed me especially when I'm using my own Created Wrestler whose at a low lvl , and that he likes to reverse everything and alot as well.
You should have included WWE 2k18 where in Alberto puts you against a max level superstar you have no chance of beating,so you get demolished as punishment.
